I have been waiing for Policeabuse to get started on my case for over 2 months now and when ever I raise a question as to why are they not working on my case it get a Police Intmadation Act like what brought me to them in the first place.  The website shows this big team when I believe it is  run out of a Garage with three people that are to busy collecting new clients to work on the ones that have paid.  If you ask any pointed questions on a voice mail that person called Kamau calles you and tells you that you should feel important because the CEO of this garage called you personally when he is the only one there.
Unless he is micromanager that is cloaned he could not work the help, bookeeping  and make eccuses for the investaors at the same time.
In 2 months I have seen nothing and they know nothing and I keep running around at my expence to have athorizaton forms notorized and then can not reciieve confirmation on if they recieved it or m multiple checks that never needed to be writen.
They take what they want when you give them a check  Do not give them access to you bank account or you will regret it.
They will tell you it was not receved and push you into a higher level of investigation and will not do any work on your case and just give eccuses  over and over like you are 12 and this is you first paperrout....  I got tired of the eccuses and asked poiinted questions after reviewing the timeing of all my email begging for a responce.  God help you if you question their lack of integerty.  They allways have a schitck like they are insulted or can't be bothered with updates when a case is constantly revolving  issues.  They will piss off the Court and your attorney and not to mention the DA and abanden you when the results just do not come.  2 months and I am bothering them for results?
You would think when they give you a time line of 30 days that 60 should be enough. I have given them 24 hours  and I will go to the correct athorities.  I will uppdate if  the Devil makes them give me money back.
Stay away and spend the money on a Lawyer...  If the lawer is good they will have their own.  These crooks put the cart before the horse and take what they want and there is nohing you can do in the short term accept change your account number.  Do it  asap!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Something is Missing

AUTHOR: areyouinpower - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 31, 2012

After reading your  your complaint regarding policeabuse.com, as a consumer I take special interest in what you are claiming they did and did not do and compare it to their rebuttal. The first issue I notice is that you wrote not one but two which tells me you were writing out of anger. Many of the details were opinionated which is your right of freedom of speech. However, upon reading their comments in an effort to defend themselves your attorney had not gotten anywhere with your case and you obviously spent a great deal of time and some money trying prove a point.  Well I have to totally disagree with you and what your trying to do in warning consumers about policeabuse.com.

While this may not be a huge company with a large staff this problem of police misconduct is ENORMOUS in nearly all fifty states and after watching, waiting, listening and using my "privilage to speak with the CEO" (as you alluded to). I've done my own investigating using the knowledge, education and training I have as a criminal justice/pre-law student and found this issue of police abuse and misconduct is tainted with politics(legislatures, congress, etc) and starts from the top and filters it's way down(local police officers). It's more complicated than the average person understands and to find someone to fight for you against being mistreated by the POLICE is a very bold risky attempt. It's unfortunate that you would write such misleading statements especially when you felt that you were mistreated and your rights were somehow violated by the police. But whats more unsettling is that you turned around and did the same thing to the owner and staff at policeabuse.com

Policeabuse.com response to Rip-Off Report Complaint

AUTHOR: Policeabuse.com - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 03, 2012

Every year Policeabuse.com handles thousands of complaints from individuals all over the country, who allege that they have been victims of police misconduct. In many of these cases, the individuals request that our staff conduct a full investigation into their allegations. This is not something that is uncommon for our office. For more than a decade, our staff has provided investigative services to thousands of satisfied clients and have testified as expert witnesses numerous civil and criminal court cases. In addition to that, our work in the field of investigative journalism has been shown on nearly every major news station in the country and as a result, our staff has received 4 Emmy awards & 4 Edward R. Murrow awards.
These accomplishments, however, were no easy task. Nor were they achieved over-night. The impeccable reputation that we have created for ourselves, was something that required a unique mixture of experience, preparation and training... and of course, a great deal of courage and determination!!

The majority of our clients, turned to us because they know the reputation we have and understand how beneficial we could be to their case. However, from time to time, some people turn to us and attempt to take advantage of our reputation; with the hopes that we might be able to 'get them off the hook'.  This is something we take no part in. Although some have given us the false reputation of being "cop haters", we always do everything possible to weed out false complaints. Unfortunately though, some individuals are occasionally able to slip through the cracks, by either embellishing, or just flat out lying, about their complaint. Richard Obanion (the one who filed this complaint) is one of those people.

Richard came to Policeabuse.com several months ago and reported that his rights were violated by police, during his 2009 arrest, in Madera County, CA. Right away, Richard gave us a story that he knew would catch our attention. However, the more we looked into his case, the more it became obvious that Richard was not being totally truthful about much of the incident. What first caught our attention was how well Richard was able to recall the most minor and irrelevant details about his arrest, yet was completely clueless about some of the more obvious and important details; such as, what he was charged with, who the arresting police agency was, etc. This is typically a indication that the person is exaggerating the facts in order to distract the investigator from some of the more important information. And in Richard's case, that's exactly what he was doing.

Another indication that someone is trying to hide certain details of their case can be found, simply by reviewing the information they send to you. In Richard's case, he would routinely forward us incomplete documents and other information, which always seemed to be missing the most important parts. Despite all of this, we moved on with Richard's case, with the hopes of finding any information at all that would indicate that he was telling us the truth. However, nearly every piece of information we came across, proved otherwise.

After finally piecing Richard's case, it quickly became obvious why Richard was sending us on a wild goose chase. We found that, on Dec 3rd 2009, a concerned citizen contacted police to report Richard driving erratically. When California State Troopers were finally able to catch up to him, they too, observed driving erratically. After Richard side-swiped a guard rail, police pulled him over and found that he was under the influence of prescription medication and was in possession of a loaded gun.

Despite Richard's hopes, we could not validate his allegations, nor could we stand behind his complaint. This upset Richard and prompted his to start complaining about our services and when we wouldn't back down, he went to the only place on the internet that allows people to post false complaints... Ripoffreport.com.

Don't bother Kamau with his companies mistakes.

AUTHOR: Richard Obanion - (Virgin Islands (US))

POSTED: Friday, February 03, 2012

This is what I was sent after being chewed out for contacting the help desk. He tells you that you should feel privilaged that you are talking to the CEO?  He screens all email and covers all the phones with a robot that you must say your name so he has controll of everyones calls like they are in a garage.  I was told that my investigator had done more than 1800. in work when his hands were tied up doing screening of new clients.  I could not get 5 minutes in 2 weeks with my investigator due to Kamau changing his mind over and over on the method of contact and then told me to call for an appointment when the phones were not working.  I was cut and received this from my investigator.  I understand that your upset about the lack of communication, but you must understand that the more time I'm spending on the phone, the less time I have to get actual work completed. As I mentioned before, we have to be able to gather records and other information before we can even begin to assess your case. So far the only records we have are the one's you've provided, but there seems to be a lot missing and retrieving those missing records isn't something that can be accomplished overnight. You hired us to conduct a legitimate investigation and in order to do that things can't be rushed. When things get rushed, you end up with an incomplete investigation that isn't worth anything.I'm sorry that we couldn't meet your high expectations, but remember; you and your attorney have been working on your case since 2009 and really haven't gotten anywhere, yet we only had the case for a few months and you're already expecting us to have the case solved.Good luck in your case and remember that no matter who you choose to help you, you're going to have to be more patient unless you want things to get sloppy.Best wishes.

It cost me 1800. for him to read a dozen pages?  Was not interested when the entire case changed?  Don't investigators want information in real time?  I asked to see the money or the work and in my investigators own words ....there is no work.  Will update on if they are fair but I don't expect it and will have even more crooked cops to deal with. I feel sorry for the ones that have been trapped on tape.

He is an ordinary agitator and no ones professional voice.  I could not help but loose my temper after being accused of being a winier when all I received was stall tactics and they could not even get a simple letter out. If allowed I will keep you posted.
