portfolio recovery Scott Richard, Mike Benedict never changed plaintiff on judgement bought norfolk, Virginia

My husband had a judgement by Capital One Bank. Portfolio Recovery bought the debt. My husband paid off the acct in April but we cant get the judgement resolved because they never changed over the plaintiff. We are trying to get a mortgage, but because it hasnt been resolved with the court we cant get our mortgage. We have been communicating with bith companies and neither wants to resolve the issue. We have until the end of next week to get it resolved or we will not get the house we want to purchase. Any idea how to get this resolved before we lose our dream home.
