My car broke down and they told nme I qualified for a car which was out of my range. I signed the 5th set of paperwork and got financed. I ended up giving them 1,600 more than we agreed to. I did not receive my tags until I threatened last week. They hund up in my face and told me to call the warranty company. Their mehanic insisted that they were too busy. The fact was that they did not know to service the vehicle. They won't take it back and give me my old car, they won't get someone to honor the warranty for less than a great fortune. Mercedes Benz of Arlington stole parts off the car when I took it in and said it needed the transmission. Theyd did not run the diagnostic test I asked for to the tune of $129/119. No plates 2 months later. Please help me to find someone who will replace this on terms. It seems it is my car.
Could someone help me to fine a replacement transmission and a shop here in the metro area? Thanks

Correction to the Prime Auto/Mercedes Benz Arlington Rip Off Report
AUTHOR: Ripped off disabled senior - ()
SUBMITTED: Saturday, June 08, 2013
Correction to the first report filed on Prime Auto and Mercedes Benz Arlington:
My e500 which I purchased from Prime Auto at the beginning of April 2013 failed last week. It would not move out of first gear. I was almost killed at the stop light trying to turn on a green arrow. This happened more than 3 times since I have had the vehicle.
Originally, I told the dealer one (1) week after the purchase that the car had a lag in the transmission. He told me to take to the mechanic (Best Auto 451 Calvert Street, Alexandria, VA) This mechanic told me that he did not see anything wrong with the car to drive it and take off slowly.
Here is the rip off history:
Prime Auto told me that I qualified for a car which was out of my range. I signed the 5th set of paperwork and got financed. I ended up giving them $1,600 more than I originally agreed to pay. I did not receive my tags until 2 months passed. I took the car back to them last week and asked for my old vehicle. I went to the dealer, went to the shop back and forth until they hung up in my face and told me to call the warranty company. Their mechanic (Best Auto) insisted that they were too busy to repair the car. The fact was that they did not know how to service the vehicle which they only admitted to me and the police on Thursday night June 5, 2013. Prime Auto refuses to take the e500 back and give me my old car. Mercedes Benz of Arlington won't honor the warranty for less than $7100. Mercedes Benz of Arlington stole parts off the car when I took it in for a diagnostic. I was told the car had a CPU problem and possibly needed a conductor plate. MB Arlington insisted it needed a transmission and refused the diagnostic even though I paid for the diagnostic test to the tune of $129/119. Both of these companies are liable. MB Corporate for a bad transmission design which should been recalled and Prime Auto for selling me a car with a known problem. As I said I had no plates 2 months later.
Please help me to find someone who will help repair the transmission and or send me your info if you have experienced problems with an e500 2004. Could someone help me to find a replacement transmission and a repair shop here in the metro area? Thanks
**Correction: I don’t know who edited my report. This is an update to the original that I filed. I am trying to understand why this phrase was in the original report: “replace this on terms. It seems it is my car.” I know this is my car.
