Prime Time Gourmet Foods Brian Whiteside Misrepresentation of products, false contact info, failed to keep agreement ripoff Greensboro North Carolina

I was visited at my home by Brian Whiteside, a salesman for Prime Time Gourmet Foods, on April 20. AFter being sucked in and lied to, I bought some meat for $350.00. The purchased was paid for by a post-dated check and it was agreed that the check would not be deposited until April 28.

I shouldn't have been surprised when I cooked some of the meat a couple of nights later and it was AWFUL!! It was full of gristle and tasted like leather. It may have qualified as "Gourmet Dog Food" at best. Then, imagine my shock when I received notice of 3 returned checks on April 26. Upon investigating, I discovered that my check, dated April 28, was deposited on April 25, clearing out all of the money that should have still been in there. The results of Prime Time breaching their agreement cost me $299.31 in fees plus the $350 for inedible meat.

Needless to say, I have been unable to get in touch with anyone at Prime Time and the phone number I was given does not even work!! The address is coming up on an address check as "non-existing". After a week of leaving unanswered messages to Brian Whiteside, I am following up with legal action and, additionally, reporting Prime Time to the Better Business Bureau.

DO NOT BUY FROM PRIME TIME GOURMET FOODS!! They are scamming people out of their money. I am the single mom of a son who has multiple medical problems due to an accident last year and have now lost $650 that I could have used for his medical expenses. What seemed like a good deal has now turned out to put a needless financial strain on my family.

I hope I will be able to update you with good news but I am not betting on it. I will keep pursuing this until I have answers.
