I purchased a RCA 42" HD flat screen TV in 02/09 from walmart. After about a year the TV wouldnt power on but a blue light at the front bottom panel stayed lite a solid blue. I called the number in the owners manual which i still have and they told me to push a certain code on the tv's remote to unlock it. I did and it worked. Now its happened again and I cant get ahold of that company because all numbers in the manual are either a fast busy signal of no longer in order. I dont feel I should be paying for something that they know of the problem and no one else does. I would like someone from that company to tell me about the code to unlock or pay for the repair or reimbusement for the tv. I also still have the receipt.

If, it has a 4-1/2 year warranty or you purchased an extended warranty. I'll bet the warranty was for one year...right?
What, other than as set should, hopefully last longer is the Ripoff?

Really you can spend the time to write a post about a issue 2 years after your purchase but you cant take the time to look it up online?? First after 2 years they are no longer liable for your TV, thats all on you. Second you need to PROVE that they knew about this as a defect. Third, you can rant and rave but in the end, you will have to do the work. So get off of your butt and start researching!
Start with the make and model of the TV and go from there.
