I prepaid to have my vehicle shipped using READY AUTO TRANSPORT. READY AUTO TRANSPORT hired a driver to pick up my vehicle for shipment. The driver said the vehicle wasnt running which I found out that he really did drive the vehicle 5 miles through the auction gate. READY AUTO TRANSPORT refused to give me the driver's name or any contact information. My vehicle is still at the auction and READY AUTO TRANSPORT has my money. I paid via credit card. They said they would give me a partial refund. So they are charging me for something that was not verified. The owner was rude and lied several times. She constantly switched her words and basically scammed me out of my money.

This Company is a scam

I am a transporter. I have worked with RAT many of times since being in business. This company does not care about the transporter. I know for a fact that this company gets well over a 1.00 a mile yet the transporters get stuck with 70 - 60 cents a mile for one vehicle. WTF? Oh and dont bother trying to get ahold of anyone. I have been attempting to get ahold of "Logan" for nearly 3 weeks now. Ive left him multiple voicemails and have heard nothing back from him... knowing that he is in the office because one of his employees said he was.. is so unprofessional. MAN UP and answer transporters calls regardring business. I dont have to work with RAT and will not if these rates contiune to be awful and business starts to become unrproffesional.

If business is becoming to stressful, maybe this company should get more employees to handle the work load. Clearly Logan cant handle it himself and Jill in the office might be his only right hand woman.

Samantha

Transporter and others:

I also had a similar experience with above mentioned "Samantha."  I feel so relieved that it was not just me she was targeting.  I know it is tough to believe a stranger when he/she is criticizing a company or person, but Transporter I believe everything you say to be TRUTH.  I sent a set up packet and received a call from Samantha.  She acted like a sensitive 10 year old child, simply very unprofessional.  I was not going to report her online at all, but did call and inform a manager by the name of Jeremy.  I do not care how large your company is.  If you are mistreating me or any driver, I will report you and I do not want anything you have to haul EVER.  After reporting to manager Jeremy and looking online to immediately see a ripoff report with Samantha's name, I just thought I had to respond and back Transporter up.  Samantha needs some training courses on how to provide good customer service.  And to keep her from turning away good drivers for her insecurities and/ or hurt feelings, she needs to be held responsible for vehicles that are not moved on her account.  For me today it was a 2012 Jeep going from Orlando FL to Destin FL.  My driver would have safely hauled that vehicle to it's destination but now he will haul something else with someone more greatful for the difficult services my company provides.  Okay now I need to move on down the list.  And if anyone at this company wants to defend Samantha then by all means I will delve out the rest of the issues I encountered during my phone coversation with your company.  Go ahead!  Thanks Jeremy for at least helping me to vent and saving my day that was just short of being ruined by unprofessional childlike Samantha.  I do not appreciate being second guessed or threatened.  And I will not tolerate that from anyone ever.  Life is too short.  Please do us all a favor and find another company to do business with who will treat you as the human you are.

Auctions

I Wrote The Last Rebuttal To This Customers Comment's And Upon Further Thought, I Can See Ready Auto Transport Going Above And Beyond To Get This Vehicle Moved. As A Transporter Myself I Go To The Auctions And Encounter The Situation Where The Customer Has Not Paid For The Vehicle Yet, Which Of Course The Auction Will Not Release The Vehicle. And Then Companies Like Ready Auto Transport Have To Take A Loss And Pay The Transporter For The Effort Or A "Dry Run" As We Call It. I Have Also Encountered Many Vehicles From The Auctions That Die While Trying To Load Them, I Have Encountered Vehicles That Die On The Transport Truck And I Cannot Get Them Off, So Ready Auto Transport I Believe Was More Than Fair With This Customer, Any Other Company, Including Myself, Would Have Charged Him For Each Pick Up Attempt, Instead Ready Auto Transport Split The Difference With The Customer And Took A Loss Of $150 What More Could You Possibly Ask For? This Guy Really Should Not Bash Ready Auto Transport After Making 2 Attempts To Pick Up A Vehicle That Was Clearly Not In Good Running Order, (Which By The Way The Customer Forgot To Mention To Ready Auto Transport).

Thanks,
Wayne Dorsey

Transporter

I Am A Transporter, I Personally Signed Up With Ready Auto Transport As A Carrier And Was Approved, Then All Of A Sudden I Was Not Approved Because A Person Named Samantha, She Didnt Care For My Attitude With Her, So She Cancelled My Account, Even Though I Am An Excellent Transporter And Qualified To Transport Their Vehicles, She Then Lied To The Owner Of Ready Auto Transport About The Situatuion. My Attitude Was Over The Hard Time She Was Giving Me About Being A Carrier, And The Excessive Low Rates Ready Auto Transport Pays The Transporters, Further, As A Transporter I Can Tell You That Ready Auto Transport Does Not Pay The Transporters Very Well And The Claim That They paid A Transporter $150 For A Dry Run Is Probably A Lie, Just Like The Customer Said. I Would Side With The Customer On This Compliant Because I Know Of Ready Auto Transport And How They Work.

Ready Auto Transport is not telling the truth

AUTHOR: magic1 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, March 03, 2011

The vehicle was paid weeks before I called Ready Auto Transport to pick up the vehicle. I have documented proof that the vehicle was paid for weeks prior to me contacting the transport company. Ready Auto Transport never had a representative from there company visit the auction site so they DO NOT know the condition of the vehicle. READY AUTO TRANSPORT basically hires drivers from other companies (driver's that they DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT) Basically READY AUTO TRANSPORT had to choose which parties word they would take as the truth.....and they chose the transport company that was actually SUPPOSE to pick up my vehicle. After calling and calling I received a partial refund of my money and the manager was RUDE the entire time. Later that week, I hired a new driver who picked up the unit with ease. So I draw conclusions that the driver Ready Auto Transport hired had overbooked and didnt have space for my vehicle.  I can PROVE that the vehicle was paid for prior to me calling for  READ AUTO TRANSPORT's service. Can Ready Auto Transport prove that my vehicle was NOT paid for on that date???? I can easily get a statment from the auction site. I was SCAMMED out of my money!!!!!

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

We did our best to help the customer out.

AUTHOR: ReadyAutoTransport - (United States of America)

We sent a driver to pick this car up because the customer told us it was ready and they needed the vehicle asap. The driver showed up to pick up the car and the auction would not release the vehicle because it was not paid for. We paid the driver a $150 dry-run fee and did not charge the customer. Two days later the vehicle was confirmed as paid for and ready to go so we sent another driver. The vehicle would not start. The driver went above and beyond to try and help the customer by spending 2 hours trying to jump the car and get it started. He finally got it started but it wasn't running very well at all. He was able to drive it out of the auction but it died as he tried to load it on his trailer. It would not start again so the driver could not load it on his trailer. He had a couple of people help him push it out of the way and notified the auction and gave them the keys back. The customer was notified that the vehicle was inoperable and that we had to pay another driver $150 for his time and effort, so we charged that to the customer. He then cancelled the move with us, and I'm sure that she cancelled the entire sale of the vehicle because it had major problems. In the end, we still only chaged him one of the dry-run fees (we lost $150), and we went above and beyond to help him out and keep him informed. We did everything that we could to help the customer out. I understand that the customer was upset and frustrated because he bought a car that did not run and had major problems, but taking that frustration out on the transportation company doesn't seem logical. We really went out of our way to try and help the customer.
