 I went to rent a center located in Canoga park CA, I told one of the employees that I don’t want to rent I want to buy a fridge. the payments were $50 a month, my payments were on time. butt the kept calling saying, u need to do your payments....it got annoying later because they started calling my work...at the beginning they said my fridge will be delivered in three days then the excuses came in// they kept saying we don’t have someone to deliver it.it took two weeks for them to deliver my fridge. Finally the fridge arrive , so I bought around $100 in food the second week the fridge gave out.

The fridge wasn’t cooling, the food went bad, I called rent a center and told them about the fridge. but they never sent a tech to check the fridge. The next day an ugly smell came from the freezer. The freezer smells like dirt and bug spray. So I took the side covers on the freezer off and around the corners I saw dead bugs and bead bugs. I film and took pictures and call them. I even call the main corporate company in Texas. they never return my calls I told them I just want my money back, but they gave me store credit, and the runarounds which I don’t want ..i read a lot about RAC.most of the reports had complaints of infested furniture and employees being rude…all i want is my money back ...they gave me hell just to get my money...i told them i have pictures and they stop calling me,,,,

once the items are returned to the store, the store is required to return the inventory back into system.once that is done your account no longer exist.

In many cases appliances are just wiped down with window cleaner and a paper towel.

no such sanitizer is used to clean appliances.hell not even mattresses are sanitized the way they should., they sit in the back for several weeks unsanitized along side other furniture. Records will show several fines have been given due to this issue.

As to the price rent a center policy is to sell the item 4 plus the times it cost to the customer.example if it cost the store 300dlss the cash price will be 1500dlls and if 

you decide to pay total term it can cost you up to 50-65%  more
