RHP Properties Poor Maintenance Kalamazoo michigan

I worked for rhp properties for a month.  I was hired when they said they needed help with a big bank inspection.  I was brought in as yard maintenance.  Nevertheless, the community manager that hired me quit after a year of beating her head aginst a brick wall.  I looked up rhp and found that rhp was no more than an investment group.  Once I saw that I started looking for new work fast.  I knew this was going to be a short trip to catch up bills.  They used me, an outside crew and Lonny from americanna to clean up highland hills and make it look like some one cared. 

Once that was done we had an office assistant that was paid hardly what she was worth thrown into the posistion of running the day to day functions of the park.  I cut the grass, weeded and tried to keep up.  Neverthless, with 50 vacancies on the property or more it is hard to keep cutting the grass.  The lawnmower had not been serviced in years and the shaft broke, the belt drive broke, and I had nothing till the end to greese anything. 

Then the regional manager comes in for an inspection on properties (they could care for)  and start complaining how the grass wasen't right and how it looked good for inspection but  was a mess now.  The reason I just gave up was I was talking to a resident about a water meter change and Lonny saw me there chatting away.  So he calls the community manager at americana and the reginal mamger was still in town at the office. Next thing I know my office manager  (that should be the community manager)  had to stop her lunch break, find men and tell me I coulden't talk to any of the residence any more per the regional manager, so I told her I am quitting.  When I told Lonny, he just said that it  would be more overtime for him, he had been doing it for four years and he would do it again.  I just think Lonny was pushing me out because the man just isn't getting paid.  It was the best thing Lonny could had done for me. I guess for $10.50 and hour she  (the regional manager) wants her car shined too.  She wanted the 50 vacant slabs to be edged weed whiped and grass cut.  She didn't know of the stumps, straps and nails on the slabs left when they quickly pulled all these 1970's trailers out so fast.  She is reall an unrealistic person that should take her skills to wall street or just own rental slum lord houses since she is good at managing higland hills and the other fire traps.  I thought is was illegal to sell homes without a furnace and water heater but they do it at highland hills. The  regional manager told the community manager it was ok so the office assistant started doing what the community manager told her to and sell she did.  She sold homes with no furnce (min $500-$1000 investment) and no water heaters (min $325-$450 investment)  to people on welfare or other assistance.  Then they wait till the heating program and get new water heaters and furnaces installed at the tax payers tab, good hussle right.  Not for the tax payer that has to flip the energy bill every winter in michigan.   Rhp dosent have to invest a red cent into the water heater or furnace when the government is going to pay for it, right?

Inclosing, I am glad I got some bills caught up and I hope they don't even think of ripping me off of my last pay check.  They are an at will company.  Since michigan wants to play this game at being an at-will-state.  Poor people don't care where they work now a days. We will quit your place and go sweep floors till something comes better.  Rhp is an at will company so you can get a job today and find a better one next week and leave them fast, no call now show , no care.  I think this at will stuff will not only hurt rhp in the future but all michigan businesses will be hurt at the baby boomers retire and there is a lack of qualifyed workers in the future.  I woulden't let my worse enemy live at higland hills, I know wat poverty really looks like now seeing highland hills first hand!
