This is the absolute worst auto repair shop that I have ever dealt with. They charge customers for "new" parts when they actually get them from the junkyard. When an unsatisfied customer returns because the problem was not corrected, they charge them to fix the problem again and refuse to accept responsibility for the poor job that was done. They continually dump oil and other toxic fluids into the soil and water at the shop. They intentionally cause additional damage to vehicles while "repairing" a problem to ensure the vehicle will have to be brought back. The owner, Rob, is fully aware that this is happening, and on numerous occasions, has instructed his employees to mislead customers. He pays all employees cash "under the table" to avoid paying taxes or provide benefits, and ensures customers have to pay cash by saying "the credit card machine is down, and we don't accept personal checks". Avoid this shop at all costs.

Robinson roadside is a nationally recognized auto repair facility in Greenville, SC. There are hundreds of auto repair shops in Greenville, and we are one of the only two shops that have been invited to be part of this program. http://www.certifiedautorepaircenters.com/CertAutoRepair/
We are also recognized with the Greenville county soil & water conservation district as one of their "No harm, No foul" repair shops. http://www.greenvillecounty.org/soil_and_water/pdf/noharmnofoulfacilities.pdf. We have always recycled our used motor oil locally, as well as any other fluids/materials that can be recycled.
We do install used parts on some vehicles, at our customers requests. Used, or "junkyard" parts, can save our customers money. You can always recognize a used part because they are marked at the junk yard before we can purchase them. We prefer to use new parts because then our customers will receive our 12 month/12,000 mile nationwide warranty which will cover their repair across the country in the event that something should happen.
We are also accredited with the Greenville Better Business Bureau with an A rating.
Robinson Roadside is a professionally run business. In 2012 we had 5 employees receive W2s from working here at Robinson Roadside. We have also had employees receive 1099s in the past.
As most businesses, we do not accept personal checks. We do accept visa, MasterCard, discover, cash, money orders, and wire transfers. We have had issues with our merchant services in the past, causing our credit card machine to temporarily be down. Our customers were made aware of this inconvenience before we started any work on their vehicles. As a convenience to our customers we even detected ATM fees if they had to go next door to the ATM.
We have thousands of satisfied customers, and we are in business today because of their loyalty to us.
We do not mislead our customers, in fact if there is a bad part we will show our customers what is bad, and the potential issues it may cause if it is not repaired or replaced. This is what makes us unique. Our customers are also welcome to take back their old parts once new ones are installed. If they choose not to take them they are put into a bin to be recycled.
If a customer ever has a problem or complaint, we do everything we can to make it right. I believe this complaint may be from a competitor, if it is not then please contact the shop right away so we can find out what happened and make it right.
