This is just a warning to anyone seeking to get a job at Roma Murphy and Horowitz. They go through employees like crazy. Either people quit because the work environment is horrible or they get fired because they get wise to the owners scams. Everyone that has ever worked there will tell you that they are 80% paid as a 1099 employee with no benefits and a small salary. It's almost impossible to make commission because the owner does funky accounting and tries to deny you. If you absolutely need a job and aren't working this might be for you, but if you have a job think twice before giving notice. They also do collections and don'f follow fdcpa.

Don't know why and who filed this report however is very easy to accuse anyone and or any company of wrong-doing and not understand what it takes to run a a small business, is not easy to keep it a float, Specially when you have individuals that just want to have check or paycheck and live day by day or do nothing to better their situation and or not better-produce for them anything. If anyone is familiar with our industry, this business is a "production" business and like any other production business you are given an opportunity if hired with our firm and based in what information is on anybody resume and what is told to our firm about your background experience.  

We are a commercial debt recovery firm and have to make sure any and all people who work at our firm are given a fair chance to work, however they are aware they only have 60-90 days to produce and or at least be profitable for themselves and the company, if and when this time expires they are reviewed and analyzed.  We are a pretty fair company and we want to work with individuals who want to help themselves and the company they work for, we sincerely try to work with all individuals who are really trying to help themselves and make it in our industry but nothing is free on this live.  

On the report this person comments-alleges that the accounting practices of the owner are not correct?   This is nothing but false!!!  Every person is given a full list of all their records on their production everyday and each transaction is given to them so they can understand what is need it and what they need to do in order for them to cover their draw-salary.    In our industry the standard protocol is a small salary sometimes is only "minimum wage" however our salaries are far above "mimimum wage"  with the opporunity to make large commission checks  however you have to cover your draw-salary before these commisions are paid.  We  proudly can tell you we have one of the best commission structure in our industry in other firms and or agencies they are only paid a 5-7-10-12% or a maximum of 15% with the same type of a small salary sometimes more, however these individuals only are guaranteed a 30-60 days salary and also they are "micro-managed"   

Because we do not and cannot do it we let you do it on your own this is based on the information provided to us at the time of our interview, we do not and do not want to "micro manage" these individuals when and at the time of the interview we base their skills and experience and always try to pick the best candidate when we have a spot in our firm, based in their interview and what information is given to us, unless they practically lied to us up front!  And unfortunately this happens almost all the time, we have individuals that tell us "flat lies and tell us they went to college and or they never had any problems with the law but then we find out quite the opposite. 


We sincerely try to do our best and comply with any and all laws, including but not limited to ALL FDCPA We are a commercial debt recovery firm but we do follow FDCPA Laws, we have a meeting every 45-60 days to make sure everyone complies with these laws if need be and when is need it at all times.  We are not a consumer debt recovery firm.  

We sincerely, like to express we regret this "unhappy" disturbed ex-employee or whomever it is to leave us alone and let us help other individuals who really are willing to work and want to work and try to make money in our industry.
