Rxfinancial Aka Gotec ripoff Flat out lied about what they are offering, you get $200 bucks worth of nothing. Elmhurst Illinois

My story is much the same as the others. I was contacted and spoke to one sales person & when they couldn't talk me into it they gave me to a supervisor. (who now is of course their scapegoat!- "If he lied to you we'll deal with him" - Yeah you'll give him a Big Fat Raise!) My worst fear at that time was that instead of the $5000 card they promiced at 1-2%interest I would get a low amount card with high interest.

I asked all the questions (Of course when they are lying to you it doesn't matter WHAT you ask) - he told me I would pay $119 + $29 for shipping for a $250 shopping spree (which I didn't care about), a phone service trial, and the info about the $5000 card I was getting. He told me that since I hadn't had a bankruptcy in the last year I would get the $5000 card at 1-2%.

I stopped him in the middle of the confirmation tape recording (of course they only tape PART of the conversation)to ask- If I don't like the terms of the card I can get ALL my money back- including the shipping fee? & He told me I wouldn't be out any money. He also assured me that I could transfer the balance from my other card to this new one.

Well you know we are just human, so in spite of all the little red flags I went ahead & gave them my account info. I did however tell them that I wouldn't have any money in my account for several weeks. Just so I would have time to see the package before the money came out of my account. He lead me to believe that I would get the package before the payment came out of my account. He also gave me a conformation # & the web address.

A few days later I went to check their site & all it came up with was "Site under construction" --A further search came up with this site Thank God. I read all the complaints & new I had been ripped off. I called the next day & told them that my husbands pay was late & could they move the payment to a later date (enough time for my outstanding checks to come in & to close my account)

SO I waited a bit- I really didn't want to have to close my account (really easy # for me to remember!)& I called again yesterday. I asked (pretending I didn't know they we frauds) If I could cancel- because we hadn't received anything yet. He told me I wouldn't till after the payment had been taken. I told him just to cancel & we went round & round till I said "look we both know your screwing me over, just cancel it" & of course I was sent to a supervisor. Who I cursed at (the first person I ever did that to that I didn't know personally before the fact.) I apologized - not because she didn't deserve it, but because I'm better than that. & She just ended up saying "I"LL CANCEL YOU" & hanging up on me....

I jumped in my car & went & closed my account. I am only starting here , I will file complaints with anyone I can find until we put this company out of business. If anyone needs me for a lawsuit, or any othe complaint I will be happy to help- although I'm not sure how we will get together.
