A male of about 20 years old who was evidently psychotic was standing outside a store, closed on a Sunday, across the street from the Safeway making fists, damning and complaining he could have had a job at a toy store. I could not get to the safeway without passing him. I went up to the only male cashier at Safeway - this is the closest grocery store to my house -and told them that I had been assaulted and harassed on the way to the Safeway.
First he said he did not have a phone, then he said that I could explain it to a female worker who was obviously not a manager.
This is not the first time that I have been harassed after shopping at Safeway. I have also watched three store security guards sadistically physically abuse what was obviously an impoverished street person in the Safeway parking lot who may have stollen something from the store.
I have actually more than once walked to this Safeway, stood in line ready to pay for the items, and left the items at the register and walked out of the store to avoid the psychotic sadism of both customers, customers who were about to become violent instead of disciplining their children who, for example, put their heads between other customers shopping carts and the counter, and the idiocy of check-out personel who will not call a manager. So very sorry to relate this, but these are uniformly hispanic and Catholic idiots without the "authority" to behave like reasonably competent human beings. I guess this church does more than get into the pants of little boys for publicity....
Bad service...lots of questions and absurd treatment at the deli by female sandwich makers who seem to like to talk continuously to display some technical expertise instead of simply making a sandwich...inconsistently stocked and inferior health products with added sugar, personel who prefer to make some big social deal of themselves instead of leaving customers alone.
Of course, prices that are over twice as high as other markets for products...but perhaps you already knew that part.

The writing below implies that you as human beings and all you are is over-extended because you are not good enough to fast and be frugivores, and redirects your reading and writing assignments. Of course this does not make profits for the owners of the store...and the so very many products there not REALLY fit for humans consumption in a world with production for humans needs, not for profit...

assaulted ?

In your report you stated that you were assaulted. What did the person do to you? Also, there is no reason to bash Catholics the way you did. As I see it, you are the one who can't "behave like a reasonably competent human being". Find another store to shop at, but I tend to believe that you won't do that because then you would have no reason to compain.

Which is it???

First you're upset that Safeway employees did nothing about the man standing outside making fists. Second, you're upset because the security was confronting someone in the parking lot. So exactly what is it you want Safeway to do? If the individual making fists was not on Safeway property, there is nothing Safeway can legally do to him. He was across the street. Why did you have to go past him? Could you not cross the street before you reached him? And how did he assault you? If you were assaulted, why did you not use a payphone and dial 911 to get the police? Lots of questions not answered in your OP.
