saveologytech.com saveology.com Offered full rebate for modem and router for Comcast internet connection with no mention of conditions Internet

Searched for Comcast internet online and called the phone number listed.  Thought I was talking to a Comcast employee but found out afterwords that it was probably someone from saveologytech.  They took all my information including credit card number and verification number. 

At no point was saveologytech mentioned until I was the given rebate online address.  The representative offered a modem and router at no cost after a rebate form was completed.  At the end of the conversation she asked if she could sign me up for a service related to the modem and router.  I said I was not interested in the service and would not sign up for it.  The representative said that was fine but failed to mention that the full rebate was only offered if you signed up for their service.  Opened the rebate form that savetechnologytech.com sent me and found that the full rebate is only applicable if you sign up for the saveologytech service.  If you do not sign up for the service there is a $20 rebate on almost $200 worth of equipment.  Found a real number for Comcast and called them directly to complain about their sales tactics and asked to cancel the entire order.  They indicated that saveologytech worked as a contractor for them and that I would need to contact saveologytech directly.  There was nothing that Comcast could do.  Evidentally saveologytech collects all of the order information and then forwards it to Comcast.  Comcast then sets up the billing and installation.  Called the original number where I placed my order to cancel it and was transferred to the saveologytech service department.  Waited on hold for 20 minutes and then was cut-off.  Comcast is enabling this fraudulent behavior by subcontracting to saveologytech and is responsible.  Their reputation is being severely damaged by each one of these interactions and I personally will not do business with Comcast again.  There are many other providers in my area that have the integrity not enter into a business arrangement with a company like saveologytech.
