Complaint: I went on line to www.ScoreSense.com to get a credit check for $1. I filled out the on line information and was given a user name & password. The credit check did not work. At the time I thought the $1 transaction failed. I returned to the site to find out what was happening and the user name & password never worked. On 11/14/2011 I received an email telling me that I had not completed registration process. A copy of the same email came monthly for more than a year.

Recently (January 2013) I went to my bank and asked them why my account was not correct to my records. Together we found that ScoreSense had been extracting $29.95 at the end of each month for more than a year. The bank filed a complaint and I received the initial $1 for failed credit check and the last 2 transfers of $29.95 but they did not return 13 transactions, a total of $389.35 between the $1 failed credit check and the last to monthly transactions.

Next, I called them and explained to them that I requested a $1 online credit check and never received it. I explained that they had been sending me emails for more than a year that stated:

"When you enrolled for your ScoreSenseTM membership, you were asked to create an account and validate your identity. We noticed that you did not complete this important step in the registration process, and therefore may not be able to access your features and benefits.

Please login to ScoreSense.com with your username and password to finish the registration process and start enjoying all the benefits that ScoreSense offers."

I told them that I was not able to finish the registration because the user name & password did not work and went to another site to get a credit check.

I explained that my bank had filed a complaint and recovered the last 2 transfers of $29.95 plus $1. I asked them to file another claim to recover the remaining funds because I had never started an account with them and and their emails confirmed that I had not completed registration. They said they would look into it and send me their answer via. email

They sent me an email stating they approved to return the last 2 transactions of $29.95 plus $1 for the failed credit check and did not approve the 13 remaining transactions ( $389.35 ) that occurred over the course of a year.

This company has no regard for victims of it's mistakes and/or scams. I would like to recover all the money they took from my Bank account. I would also like to be included in any class action law suites against them.

Do you not read your monthly bank statements??? Although I detest these companies that rip off people I have no understanding of a reason that a person does not keep up with his/her bank accounts. Therefore I suggest you reconcile your bank statement monthly and report any suspicious activity to your bank asap.
