It's simple as this, Barbara Graham screwed up and refused to take responsibility, so i was blamed and terminated for a mistake she made in 2006. This company has always been micro-managed. Barbara basically believes that if you do not have a degree, you do not deserve to be paid a decent salary, no matter how well you do the job. And if a mistake is made by her, she will deny it and blame an employee. There is an employee currently working for the company that is morbidly obese and Barbara will not put her on full time because she states it will cause the insurance to increase. There is another current employee that Barbara constantly put down to me, because of the way she looked. Barbara expects all employees to dress as though they make a 6 figure income, when she barely paid them above minimum wage. The largest client Barbara had terminated their contract with Sensibill in August, to save money for their practise, they took their billing inhouse. She done everything possible to make it hard, so that they will fail and return to her company. I have been contacted by this practise since my termination, several times, for information that she would not provide. One of her current employees informed me that she made sure that the client did not hire me by reminding them of the contract signed many years ago.
For all Externs, if you do you externship at Sensibill, she will not pay you more than $9.00 per hour.

I have to say thank you for the termination. Since my termination, my life has changed so much for the better. And it is all because I am no longer associated with Sensibill or Barbara Graham.

"For all Externs, if you do you externship at Sensibill, she will not pay you more than $9.00 per hour."
NEWS FLASH: All companies start externs off at 8.00 to 8.50 an hour. No big secret.
Time to move on and learn from all of your own mistakes. No companies out there are perfect nor are the people working for them. You just need to find the best one for you.
Best of luck in the future.

The employee who wrote this was fired for reasons suitable for termination...she failed to comply with policy and procedure, she dropped the ball with a client that we lost due to her neglegence. Sometimes people just need to admit to their mistakes and move on instead of blaming others for his/her own mistakes. This employee apparantly feels betrayed and hurt but it was all brought on by herself. Sensibill is a wonderful company. It may be a small company now but will grow as time goes by. Right now we have a great group of people who work together for the benefit of our clients. Sensibill is in no way a sweat shop or a terrible place to work. I am very satisfied in my employment with Sensibill and look forward to the growth and progress. Barbara, the owner is a great person. Barbara has shown time and time again that she does care about her employees. She does what is best for the company and If this means letting go of an employee, even a longterm employee, who has shown or produced neglect in a clients productivity then she, as any other place of business would do to same. Any other company would of terminated these employees for the same reason as well. I plan on being with Sensibill for a long time and look forward to our growth.
