Sharon J. Kelly Realty Inc Lazy and irresponsible Port Saint Lucie Florida

Ms. Kelly was the listing agent on a property I purchased. Before closing, she had someone go out to the property and change the locks.  Someone had removed the lock box from the door two weeks before closing, so the person changing the locks did not have access, so what did they do? They kicked the door in and completely ruined the door and the jamb. They jury-rigged the door jamb so that the door worked and new key worked. My issue with this is not the cost but the fact that she did not take responsibility for this issue. Her first response was “someone doing a drive by did it” and my response was “why would that person take the time to jury-rigged the door jamb that makes no sense” her second response was that I did it. Well, the house needs a lot of work (about 60K) and the door was in very good shape (didn’t even need paint) why would I take the risk of scamming a new door when I have all these other cost to do deal with. She also made no attempt to contact the person that changed the locks i.e. her response back to my email only took a few minutes. In my opinion, this is a story about laziness, Sharon J Kelly Realty and the people she works with were just too lazy to do the proper job.
