Gas is advertised at $3.39 per gal But at the pump it is $3.68 per gal This is during the july 4 th weekend Stations next door and across the street sell for $3.40 per gal Used debit card to oAy

While this is true it normally translates to a few cents per gallon This price increase is dramatic as well as the posted price on the pumis normally the cash price while changing after inserting credit card

It may not be a bait and switch. The extra price you may be paying is the cost of useing a debit/credit to pay for your feul pyrchase. Its a common tactic to make those ppl who pay with a credit/debit card eat the fees associated with the use of said cards. Out here in Nevada, if you do not pay cash and use your debit/credit card, the cost per gallon goes up. This is because the PCI or "Payment Card Industry" raised the fees for the use of credit or debit. It used to be "free" to use a debit card but it was recently moved to roughly .45 per transaction.
