I recently started making purchases from shopgoodwill.com and bought several items at decent prices and felt pretty good about what I was buying. That the descriptions were fair and honest and that I knew what I was getting. I always looked closely at their photos. I also read several reviews and knew that they do "shill bidding" it was pretty obvious. I always looked at other auction prices. the Central Indiana store was advertising a Sony Blu-ray with surround sound and included wireless for live internet streaming. I feel they intentionally left several important things out of their description of this item to deceive bidders. First that they did not photograph or state that there was a big yellow sticker on the top of the packaged "IOB" item that read returned to walmart.com "components damaged does not work" they described it as in original package and powers on and plays. their photo showing it nicely packaged and looking new. Now granted they have disclosures all over their site which I totally get there is a huge difference to me about not being responsible if you are not aware there is damaged or missing parts and knowing it full well and not stating it that to me is fraud! Which leads to my next complaint it was clearly missing one of the key and most expensive pieces the wireless ln connection which is specific to this sony model and costs $80.00 to buy! it was clearly not in the package and they did not disclose that they made it sound like it had all the pieces and was only taken out of the box for pictures. I wrote them a nice letter letting them know they will never receive another dime from me. I dont normally risk that kinda of money on a used item but was trying to have faith that people are normally honest and decent not intentionally deceptive but again I was proven wrong. If you do buy anything from this site just know you have an excellent chance of being taken for your money and that gamble is not one I will ever take again!

This specific Sony surround system very clearly shows on the box that the wireless Lan is INCLUDED!

If they can read then they knew it should have been in the box or they should not have listed it as INTERNET READY. I research the item before I bid on it on the Sony website so again I was expecting it to be included. They presented this item to be complete and in the original box.

If you check around you will discover most of the
"wireless ready" Blue Ray/DVD/Audio Systems do not
include the price of the "wireless In connection" piece
and must be bought separately. And of course each brand has
its own proprietary wireless adapter that is way over priced.

I just want to fairly state that after my letter to the store they did offer to allow me to return the item and they would give me a credit once it was received. I was very surprised and relieved to know that they would do this. I still will no longer be buying any electronics from the site. I advised them all of this could of been completely avoided had a complete and totally honest description been given at the time of sale.
