SILVER LEAF RESORTS SILVER LEAF RESORTS SCAM RIPOFF SOUTH LEE Massachusetts

I got a blue card in the mail from the awards verification center saying "for taking a 90 minute timeshare tour I was guaranteed a car or vacation, and $500" etc. So I said what the hell, I'll take a shot at it and I was given a date to go on the tour in South Lee, MA.

After several questioning, I was told that there were no requirements, and that I would not have to purchase anything to go on the tour and win a prize. They also said they would compensate me for my gas usage with a certificate. What ended up happening was totally different.

Upon my arrival at Oak N' Spruce Resorts, I waited 30 minutes to be seen by a rep. who then came to me and asked me if my income was at least $45,000 a year. I said no and she said that I was not elligible to go on the tour, but that I was still elligible to win a prize.

I was then taken to a room in the back, with another person who had been told the same thing by a person with the same name ("kerry"). I waited for about 20 minutes and then a lady called me into another room. She then started filling out paperwork and asked me to reach into a bowl of tickets and pick one.

I did what she said and scratched off 5 spaces. I kept telling her what was under what I scratched and she kept saying "no". After the big shock that I did not win anything, she told me there was still a chance to win something.

She presented me with a sheet of paper with a bunch of different numbers on them and asked me to find the number on the ticket and match it with one on the paper. As I did this, she went about filling her paperwork out.

Of course, the number was not there. I then asked her about the free $125 digital camera that I was gaurunteed for arriving on time. She told me she wasnt supposed to give it to me but she would.

When she left the room, It occured to me what a scam this was. I then looked at the other tickets in the bowl on her desk and all tickets had the same number on them. Which showed me that I had fallen for this SCAM! THERE ARE NO WINNERS! YOU WIN NOTHING!

I was told to call the corporate office to claim my trip and gas rebate, since neither were givin to me at the resort. I spoke to Gail, who told me that my gas check was sent out and that the free trip certificate was sent out.

I called again today to see which travel agency I would be using. I was told Casablanca Express. I then come onto this site to see that it is another scam agency.

THIS NEEDS TO STOP AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE! THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE AND MAKING THEM THINK THEY HAVE WON SOMETHING FREE! WE ALL KNOW NOTHING IS FOR FREE BUT....THIS IS REDICULOUS!
