I was told by SMC Promotions that I could start my own home based business through them and I would have my own Website for free that I could personalize. That I could order merchandise through them and that I didn't have to pay for it until it was sold. That I would be able to use gift cards as a promotion for my business. That I would have a coach that would walk me through everything and to take advantage of my free coaching for my free 12 weeks. That I could place whatever I wanted on my Website and price how I wanted to price the merchandise. These were all lies. I was given a supposedly very good deal to start. and after paying my first payment I was told about the monthly web hosting fee. My coach only told me what sites to go to. and what i could do, nothing about how to do anything really. I still gave her a good rating both times I talked to her because I thought it was good information she gave me, but when I followed her instructions to the success central site to watch the tutorials as also directed for me to go to in the Money Making Manual. They were only sales pitches as to what i could do if I were to upgrade and buy this and that. I found out that I have to have gift cards for every new member to shop from me their first time. I would have to purchase these after my free ones ran out of coarse along with my catalogs that would be shipped to me; that I was told were included in my membership fee to start out that i would get enough to start out with; along with labels. Not one a piece, and that i had to pay for labels and a lot more tools I would need and didn't know about too. I was told that SMC would take care of all the things like shipping and handling, that it would already be included in the price. I found out otherwise. that I have to figure out the shipping and handling. I was told that SMC would handle all returns and found out otherwise on that also, that I would have to do all sorts of things in that department. I was told that I could call and cancel my membership before my 30 days was up and that I would get all my money back for whatever I order and all the money I paid to start.

After I came across an announcement on one of the sites that said they would be upgrading to their member site to a 12 something-can't remember the name but it was foe the eMerchant website and that I had the option to upgrade but then quickly said after that it was an option that all members were going to be charged a fee for the upgrade and to call a number to opt out of the upgrade before the 19th of June. When I called to Opt out, the man made up a quick excuse that he had another member on the phone and that he would call me back within 10 minutes. After about an hr. I had been lied to too many times and called and confront the lie about not being charged to order until after the order was sold and then I called the cancellation number; only to get a automated message telling me to send back ALL the stuff from them..more money out of my pocket. And that includes the magazines I paid to order and told it was Non- refundable AFTER I already paid it. I had to cancel my debit card and I am going to have to make a fraud claim through my bank to try to get my money back I didn't sell one thing through them because of all the lies. How am I to trust that they even have real products. It would all be in my name not theirs!
