i first started using the toll because i lived right off the entrance , but boy do i regret it seems like something from a horror film but true. i mean we are all after the buck but the fellas here in the south bay expressway figured out how to scam people and get away with it......and first of all how does a public or private company get the right to put a hold on your registration are you kidding me. well i have heard many cases of these people charging drivers as they use the toll and most people will never know till they go and renew their tags they realize months later and before they can even defend themselves the account is already in collections .. that sounds pretty shady to me. the company claims they have footage and pictures but I'm sure its bogus ...

my story is particular because i did commit a few infractions but since my father was diagnosed with cancer my head hasn't been were it should also I've been in and out of the country so i don't blame when I'm at fault but something curious happened that opened my eyes when i received two letters for two different vehicles i remember burrowing when my car was in the shop i remember using the toll since its convenience is like an evil but sometimes i need to use it i remember paying the tolls with cash how convenient for them i don't get a receipt but we are in a toll road you would expect them to be honest specially since its here in the united states and not in a third world country were u can get away with murder..

so anyways i may have forgotten to pay a few tolls on my car but the last thing i would do is burn my bridges with the few people i can rely on to help me when i need a hand and i remember paying with a ten dollar bill in one scenario i was pissed .... but weeks later of course our fellows at south bay expressway somehow blame the technology and yes they give the option to dispute the case but number one why do i have to dispute something that i paid for from the get go ...number two what if the letter never gets to my mail box and I'm in that percent of people who did pay and can easily dispute it but if i never got the letter then it'll go to collections hence i cant renew my registration hence guess who just got away with this scam .......

u see my drift my readers so its a whole bunch of possibilities with these people funny thing is that I'm sure the are very aware of this matter going on but they are choosing not to address it or maybe its convenient for this mistake to happen over and over and over and over its like stealing pennies from a thousands of bank accounts you end up with a lot of cash and not just the money the head aches people have to go through when they find out months later when they can't renew their registration .. what struck me to look into this was that i received two letters for two different cars that weren't mine to the same house i mean they got greedy

i guess if the would of just send me one letter hey honest mistake lets dispute it but 2 letters and from different tolls nope i know its not a coincidence i mean i saw the lights turn green i was in the car i was driving the reason why i can easily remember is because i was given some pretty bad news at the time so I'm 110% sure if the light turned green after i inserted 10 dollars why would i later get a ticket with the option to dispute mmmm I'm honestly troubled and mad upset at these millionaires getting away with fraud and f*cking us over blaming the technology like in the other rip-off report stating that there may be a mix up when entering the plates sounds like a whole lot of bS to me i mean mistakes cost money my old man says its time they start paying for theirs..

why is it that the technology that they claim is not accurate only harming customers and why is it that it doesn't break down to let us not have to pay its only in the screw the driver part thats what i don't like see they have the millions to spare and me every f*cken hundred dollars i pay these thieves make a dent in my wallet .... its crazy I'm not the one to complaint I'm a good citizen at least i try to be but the people need to be shut down its not right its not ok I'm willing to spend my last dollars on a class action lawsuit if anyone has encountered something like this or knows someone please contact me via email (((redacted))) lets work together and bring them down its not fair its not ok we need to fight back its time we do ......and if u work for the expressway don't rebutal this its as clear as water mistakes cost money and if your mistakes are costing me and many citizens headaches its time u guys pay for yours too..

Our goal is to provide convenient access to travelers in South County not to scam anyone. We feel it is fair to ask that customers pay for their trips when they use South Bay Expressway a toll road. We provide both cash and credit card options at each ramp, as well as a Pay-by-Plate program available via our website, by mailing in your payment, by calling or coming by in person to our offices to do so. With all those payment options, we still extend the courtesy to our customers and to those unaware or who were lost and confused but used South Bay Expressway by reducing their penalties as a one-time courtesy. It is the responsibility of each driver to be sure that they contact us to pay for their tolls and when violations are issued. The reduction in penalties instead of elimination of them is done to cover the administrative costs associated with sending a violation when it is valid. This includes collecting the registered owner information for the vehicle at the California DMV, staffing, processing, printing and postage for each violation. If South Bay Expressway were to make a mistake or issue a violation in error, we wouldnt ask for payment in any penalties from the customer. If an error was not made, then we do ask that at a minimum, drivers pay the toll and often times a reduced penalty.

bottom line here is its a  company ( non usa bases) that paid off  politicians to get what it wants.
