Sprint - Sprint PCS - Sprint.com harasses existing customers with solicitation calls! I got THREE today alone! Overland Park Kansas

I cannot believe these pricks! I have been with Sprint for over 4 years now, and have never had one problem....Until today!

This morning about 10am while at work and on the job, my cell phone rings. It is an 877 number so I ignore it and let it go to voice mail. About an hour later it is lunch time and I have free time to check the call / message.

No message. So, I call back the number that is on my caller id. It is Sprint. Now I am concerned that maybe there is a problem with my account, etc., so I call back and jump through all of the hoops to speak with a real person.

What a total waste of my time! They were trying to upgrade me and sell me new equipment! These are SALES REPS acting as if they are calling on official business! What a SCAM!!

So I tell this person that I do not want any more phone calls for any reason. I do all business only by email or postal mail. I stayed on the phone for another 10-15 minutes while this clown walks me through the "opt out" process. He apologizes and says I will not get any more call. I thank him nicely.

Now, here comes a little after 5pm, I'm on the way home, and it is a call from the same number! However, this rep's connection and/or headset is so bad she cannot hear me, but I can hear her perfectly. She tells me she will call back. I stand there outside my car for 10 minutes, and no call! Now I am really pissed. Like I don't have anything better to do!

So I call them, and once again jump through all of the hoops of identifying myself and once again attempting to speak with a real person. I finally get this jerk on the phone who starts coming off with attitude with me because I am complaining about getting these calls [once again]. Keep in mind, I "opted out" just a few months ago and selected email as my primary communications source for all official communications, and opted out completely from any solicitation calls of any kind.

He also informed me that they were calling as part of a customer satisfaction survey..yada ...yada...yada...I call him out on his lie. He is a salesman. I can smell a sales pitch a mile away. Then I corner him and he admits they are offering various "promotions". I informed him that I am not on contract and am in no way interested in any "promotions" as they require another 2 year contract, and I like my freedom to choose.

Now, this guy gets snippy with me and says, "you do realize this dialer opt out will take 30 days, and in the mean time you may get more calls"...

At this point I flipped out! I told him, the next time I get one of these calls, I go back to Verizon within 15 minutes!

I then hung up on the p***k, and went online and filed a complaint at sprint.com customer service. Then I wnt to whocalled.us to see what I could about that number [877-304-6446] ...Guess what? HUNDREDS of complaints! Imagine that.

They have pissed me off so bad, I am looking at other carriers right now. They are too stupid to realize they HAD a happy customer who also is a good customer. Two lines of service for over 4 years and never a late payment.

I guess Sprint does not value or want to keep GOOD customers.

Must be some new marketing plan devised by clueless college boys with nothing else to do.
