What a nighmare! I needed to mail out some christmas cards and I thought they would have some deal or option to mail bulk mail cheaper. Well what I ended up with was no stamps and no mailing but a charge of $16 bucks to my account three months in a row. They make you sign up for an account just to see what the fees would be but don't even tell you what they are. Supposedly they send you some type of package in the mail explaining everything... that I never got and then they charge you a fee every month. So I am out money for something I never got and never used. You can't reach or get a hold of anyone and they won't refund your money.

stay away!

Stamps.com Response

AUTHOR: StampsComCorp - ()

POSTED: Monday, March 31, 2014

Hi mcFamily,

Thank you for your feedback and Stamps.com apologizes for any misunderstanding.  To clarify, Stamps.com accounts are actually created via a multi-step registration process in which we present full fee and trial information before an account can be created.  Registration requires you to enter your name, mailing address, phone number and credit card information, in addition to creating a username and password and selecting two security questions.  Also, you must review and agree to our Terms and Conditions (www.stamps.com/conditions).  We never charge people without their full agreement during our online registration process.  After registration, Stamps.com follows up immediately with a Welcome E-mail with this information and we also ask customers interested in our service to read the Service Agreement and the information contained in their Welcome E-mails.  Our subscription fee information is also included on several pages of our website such as the Plans, FAQs pages and the Offer Details link on our homepage.

In your comment you mentioned that you can’t reach or get a hold of anyone – Our Call Center is open 12 hours every weekday from 6am – 6pm PT.  The number to call is 1-888-434-0055.  To cancel your service, please call us at the number above and one of our representatives can walk you through the process.  Again, we do apologize for any misunderstanding and would appreciate an opportunity to make things right.  If there is anything we can assist you with or if there are any unresolved issues, please send us an email at social@stamps.com.

Sincerely,

Divya

That being the case, how do you know they won't refund your money?  A little odd don't you think?

Looks like YOU ripped yourself off.
