Tommy Case Patterson has now started a company called Staycation Backyard Resorts and Construction in Mt Juliet TN and has royally screwed us over. He has been paid $23,000 and has maybe $6000 worth of work done and almost all the work will have to be fixed and he has already spent what we gave him on God only knows what and had the audacity to ask for more. We found this forum prior to contracting with him and asked him if it was him and he denied anything to do with it. We have complete confirmation that this is him for sure and would rather not throw the person under the bus who told us but it is him without a doubt. He is also currently on Parole in Wilson County TN. We already have an attorney going after him and would like to get together with everyone that has been scammed by him to put him in jail so this does not happen again. We will  be contacting News Channel 5 investigates to let them know to see if they will do a story on him so we would greatly appreciate anyone else that has been ripped off to be involved. Anyone involved please respond ASAP thanks

MATTER OF TIME...

AUTHOR: ask tommy - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, August 23, 2012

I am SICK each time I read about the huge amount of money Tommy has taken illegally and will not make an honest paycheck to help his own child. I actually would not want to give him any rights to be a part of her life and seeing him go back to prison would be in her best interest. If anyone can give me the parole officers number I believe my information would be very beneficial.

REALLY? are you SERIOUS

To everyone involved in Tommy's scams and cons, sounds like it is all gaining momentum on you. I told you it would be a matter of time. Yes Tommy has a LONG history of scams from Pennsylvania and as far as Mexico. I am the mother of his 9 yr old daughter who he met after he was released from prison in Mississippi. You were prosecuted in Louisiana for embezzlement. Maybe you can set the record straight on what the charge was but it was basically stealing thousands of dollars from Colortyme while employed as a manager. You got released on parole but crossed state line into Mississippi needing money for drugs and the 2 people you were with stole the golf clubs of the undersheriff and got 5 years in Mississippi. But I will stop there. I read all of theses reports and your bs excuses you feed to these people have not changed since I witnessed your game up close and personal. YES, I can be very damaging to you in the court room. I would not even have to go that far, I am locating your PO in wilson county. Won't be hard to do.

I will end with this last few comments. I am not able to buy her new clothes and the extras 9 year old girls want. Any money I make barely pays the bills and because of you stealing money from the household in Mississippi, I have not been able to retain an attorney to regain custody of Emmy-lea. But what has made it extremely difficult is the child support order I have to pay for Emmy to the same office and caseworker you are one file for in Madison child support case. I have had to pay hundreds of dollars to keep from going to jail and madison going to child welfare. The State of Oklahoma can't enforce your obligation because State of Tennessee has to  come after you.

Out of all the hardships past and present, I have found hidden blessings and have seen God's grace in every obstacle of my life. I have forgiven you, but I will be a witness for anyone seeking justice and reimbursement against you.

I'm Done With This

You need to get your facts straight as to who does and doesn't work for my company. If they are on a job I contracted, than they do work for me while they are there.  You keep calling me a conartist when you are the ones who ripped me off, PERIOD!  My past, whether things are true or not are none of your business.  I haven't "committed any crimes" as you say. As I see it, you are the crook! Good luck with your project.

Let me correct you on the statement "the same guys are still working" because the same guys still working are not a part of your company and actually know what they are doing. Your guys are the ones who are "inexpierenced and need to be babysat because they will screw stuff up if you don't stand over them" as you quoted word for word on 8/11/12 then turn right around on 8/13/12 and let them attempt to pour a footer for a retaining wall by themselves that was done completely incorrect.

The guy still working are the only reason there are even walls standing for the pool right now. Since they have taken over I have not had one complaint because the person in charge actually knows how to manage a project, gets the materials they need, shows up when they say there going to, and performs the work they say they are gonna complete which is the complete opposite of yourself.

They have not asked to be paid in advance for any of the work they have done so far unlike yourself which demanded money for work that had not even been performed. They have also done more work in two days then you've done in two months. Also you might want to correct your statement about your in business to make money because it should be your in business to rip people off because you have a proven track record that clearly shows that. It's obvious that by not providing reciepts to back up your statement shows your once again not telling the truth.

I think if I had more money invested in a project than what I was paid I would not have a problem showing a customer that evidence. I'm not the slightest bit worried about the money portion of this whole thing. It's obvious you need it much more than I do. I just want to prove a point that once again you lied and are a conartist. I will get my refund back through the satisfaction of watching you go to jail for all of the crimes you have commited over the past several years. Every dog has its day and yours is in the near future.

Again Amazing!

I don't have to provide any receipts to you because your contract has the set amount. I don't have a business not to make money so what I buy something for is frankly none of your business. As far as the $8,000 goes, thats was collected because you were trying to not give me anything even though your contract states different. You people made me give you copies of everything you requested so you can keep lying about asking about a contractors license. You asked me for my business license and got a copy of it. You also need to reread your contract and it states that completion date would be from excavatiion date, weather permitting. The excavation was just completed approximately 3 weeks ago due to the rock. Again, the end result is you guys breached your contract, and continue to lie about the details of this job.  If things were done so wrong, then why did you hire the same crew I had installing the pool to complete the job? Stop the games, I am not refunding anything to you because you are not owed anything.  The money you gave was spent on your job whether you like it or not.

Where is the Proof

AUTHOR: jmm9c - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 22, 2012

You claim you have over $23,000 in the project where is the proof? You've been asked by us and your parole officer for receipts to prove what you have spent which would be the cost of the walls and maybe a total of 20 hours labor since you have been tape recorded saying your guys had only been on the job 3 days in almost 2 months and all three days they screwed stuff up including the fill lines, footer, and electrical gound around the pool. If you provide $23,000 in receipts for the job I will revise or correct my previous statement about you only having $6000 in the job. The $6000 quote was not shot from the hip by myself but was given by a pretty knowledgible and credible source that is pretty familar with the industry.

Also you say that we were in "Breach of Contract" by not making proper payments. Lets see here, you were paid $15,000 in full for the first payment and nothing got done for weeks after payment was made. Then we told you that we didn't feel comfortable about paying the full $15,000 for the 2nd payment until we seen some progress and you are on tape saying you only needed $8000 for the second payment which was a request made by you not us and is clearly a mutual agreement. Now if you want to get on the topic of Breach of Contract then lets talk about you not even having a contractors license that we clearly asked if you did and you told us yes and is needed for any job over $25,000. Also our contract stated you were suppose to have a performance bond for the job which was never done.

Lastly, we had a completion time of 8 weeks to finish the pool permitting weather or natural disasters and at 8 weeks we had a hole in the ground that was still not dug correct and some walls bolted together which was maybe 30% of the work needed for the job and it rained 4 days in 8 weeks. So you might want to reconsider you "Breach of Contract" claim. Also you still have not justified why you lied about the "Premier Exterior" scam on here involving Tommy Patterson not being you. It makes complete sense why you said you lost your license when we asked for them because it would have revealed you were the person in the scam and on parole.

Basically it boils down to this, you have 3 options; Provide Reciepts showing you have $23,000 in the project, Refund every dollar that cannot be documented as being spent on our project, or prepare to go to jail which I can assure you is going to happen if this situation is not fixed. Be a man and admit that you screwed up and refund the money back that was not spent on the job and move along with your life. Once the situation is made right I will update the post to let the public know that you have resolved the issue but if not I will update it to let everyone know when you go to jail.

Amazing!

This customer is completely dillusional.

Yes, they have given Staycation $23,000.00 on an approximate $51,000.00 contract and there has actually been about $30,000.00 worth of work done on their pool. These people are  trying to cheat a builder out getting what they can for free or what they think they should pay after signing a contract and breaching it by not abiding by the signed payment schedule or adjusting and taking things off the contract as they see fit.  I encourage their attorney to contact me so I can get him in touch with my attorney for the lawsuit I am going to file against them.

You don't sign a contract and try to change things as you see fit and not expect to have reprecutions. As far as things having to be fixed is also untrue. That pool has its walls up, footing for those walls, plumbing, electrical rough in, and the backfill on this pool has been completed.

Keep in mind that pool is 26-27' at its widest point and 42' long. This is an enormous pool and they honestly believe that only $6000.00 worth of work has been done. The walls and benches in this pool alone were way over twice that amount.

Pool Builders beware that these people will not pay you as agreed and will try to change things as they see fit even after they sign a contract with you.

These people have not been scammed in any shape, fashion, or form and this is ridicolous that people are allowed to come on here and write what ever they want because the end result is, no matter what the rebuttal is, this still hurts a small business.
