I purchased a 2006 Porsche Cayman S from Mr. Steve Ceriotti in September of 2010 in the amount of $35,500. Mr. Ceriotti sent me the car but refuses to send me the title to the vehicle or cooperate in providing me the information to the lien holder. There is still a lien on the vehicle, which leads me to think that Mr. Ceriotti pocked the funds to pay for his daughter's "education", and never paid off the lien to the vehicle. I have called him numerous times and sent dozens of emails. He refuses to call me back or answer an email. Mr. Ceriotti also owes me $500 for shipping of the vehicle and a second key to the vehicle. Mr. Ceriotti who also goes by the name "The Reptile Experience", is an extremely classless shady individual and I would NOT trust him, work with him, or engage in any transactions with him. He has zero morals or class and is a complete liar and thief. If Mr. Ceriotti wants to resolve this issue he knows where to find me...

Sadly to say for the community..all you will get is some more totally irrelevant Karl NUTCASE horrible "poetry" ( and that term is used very loosely) that has never and will never contribute to anything positive here unless someone needs an aid to vomit. Then it might help.

New York, New York

I thought people from New York were smarter than this. I guess I was wrong.

Too bad.

My advise would be to make a trip to his residence (pay him a visit) unannounced, of course.

Or hadn't you thought about that? He knows where to find YOU ?!?

I'd find HIM... NOW!

Regardless of "sight unseen"...

AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 06, 2010

..you do not appear to have a complaint about the condition of the vehicle..only that you have no title.

What really comes into question..is why did you send $35,000 without seeing the title and making sure it is clean? How did you pay?

Normally if you purchase a vehicle via the internet, you want to have some sort of protection against this type of situation.

My advice to anyone..aside from the risk of buying sight unseen unless you are a professional buyer/seller, is to use an escrow service. The only one I know of that is valid..is escrow (dot) com. They hold the funds until the buyer is satisfied. In the worst case, the buyer may be stuck with shipping fees, but this is certainly a better risk then sending a payment and getting nothing, receiving a vehicle not as described and having no recourse, or receiving a vehicle with no title and then you can not legally register it, or re sell it.

Do you at least have a legally binding contract so you have some leg to stand on if this goes to court?

You Asked For This!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

I take it, by your statement, "sent me the car", that you bought this thing sight unseen over the internet.

You sent this guy 35k without knowing who or what he is and now its all his fault, right?  You have absolutely zero culpability in this matter, right?

You took on all the risk with this stupid nonsense of buying a used car sight unseen on the internet.

Therefore since you took this incredible step, looks like you'll deal with the lein matter, the money he owes you and the title, not to mention what else goes wrong.

What you did is 100% equivalent to placing a blindfold over your eyes and walking out into your town's busiest street.  And then when you get run over, cry and whine it was the fault of the car which hit you.  Incredible!!!

My advice is for you to rush to the nearest doctor and see if he/she has some type of prescription which will increase your common sense!
