Swift Transportation New pay package steals money from drivers and adds it to office vacation time. Phoenix, Arizona

Swift Transportation is rolling out a new driver pay package in July, but you wont hear allot about it. You wont see allot of promotion around it like when other trucking companies announce new pay packages and you wont hear allot of people at the company talking about it. Most are just embarrassed that a company of such size could come up with such a pay schedule. 

If Swift does go big with announcing their new pay program, they may say things like "New pay package to include a additional .06 cents per mile." What they do not tell you that there are only 45 drivers in the company that qualify for that rate change. Or maybe they will promote that fact that some dedicated lanes are getting rate per mile increases. Those lanes are the high turn over lanes and they have a hard time keeping drivers on those accounts. 

Finally, lets not forget the drivers on the national accounts that are taking a 40% pay decrease the same time the senior office staff gets an additional weeks vacation per year. The new pay package is not worth your consideration. Its just lip stick on a pig.
