Tag Away was advertised on tv and I ordered it online.  A couple days later, a company called Budget Savers called and said they were sending me information because I ordered Tag Away.  They refused to explain their connection to Tag Away, and there was nothing about Budget Savers online when I placed the order.

Their patter was rather confusing, but after listening to them a bit (they kept wanting me to say "OK"), I realized they were charging me $1.00 for the Budget Savers, and planned on charging me $29.95 per month thereafter.  I told them "no", so hopefully they will not charge me.  I regret ordering Tag Away now, since they are obviously trying to rip off people.  It was extremely difficult to discern that they were trying to shove these extra charges on me because they were speaking so fast.

They are not operating like a regular online ordering company.  They never sent a follow up email to confirm my purchase.  I want to cancel now, if I could only figure out how.

Tag away purchase

AUTHOR: bfizzy - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, April 10, 2013

I found Tag Away at my local Wal-mart store for 14.99. It was the last one so lots of people were able to buy it there. and no website or phone center has my information of any kind. You might look in a retail outlet for safer purchasing.

I seem to be in the minority...

AUTHOR: jimmy827 - (Japan)

POSTED: Sunday, March 03, 2013

Like one of the previous posters below I wanted to voice my experience with Tag away. I know I'm in the minority here but I wanted to chip in lest people automatically assume that everyone who tries this will get scammed.

I'm not sure where you got it from but I got it from the official store and didn't hear anything about a special offer or getting extra charges that weren't already noted on the offer page. The product is starting to have an effect - I have only been using it for a while but enough to see it's more than a placebo so don't believe it's a scam.

All I can say is to help people here is to do detailed research about products like this before purchasing. I myself checked forums, amazon.com and review sites I trust like makeupalley.com and thebeautyreviewer.com and before buying anything. It pays off - if I didn't I would know about how there can be problems like the one you faced here if you don't get it from the official site.

Wish more people would do this to prevent cases like this...

Davis209 is obviously an affiliate of the company. It would be prudent to disregard those comments.

This happened to me too.

AUTHOR: ann59 - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, January 31, 2013

I too got calls after I placed my order.  Actually 3 different calls all after 10pm at night - one after 11:30pm. They said they were calling to confirm my order but they went on to try and sell me some promotion that would be free at first then they'd JUST charge my credit card $29.95 per month.  I kept saying no and they kept badgering me.  I finally threatened them to hear from my lawyer and then they reconfirmed my tag away order and hung up.

They did this three times!  I looked up plymouth direct and they have complaints all over the place about their awful business practices.  I won't do business with them ever again.

Do Your Homework

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, January 13, 2013

If you Google this outfit you'll see a boatload of unsatisfactory reviews. Their nasty habit of selling customers names to various hucksters is rather galling. It just indicates how desperate this company is for revenue from any source. I do give them credit for excellent Photoshop skills.

This thing doesn't work -- Save your money -- DECEPTIVE advertising

AUTHOR: Ramses D - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, January 13, 2013

Not only Tag away doesn't work -- the TV advertising is Deceptive -- They say on tv that you see results fas and once you get the product it specify that it takes 3 to 8 weeks -- well, I have used a whole bottle on 2 little tags and no results -- on top of that if you look at the pictures on the info sent in the package and on the commercial on tv, you can see that they have been "photoshoped" they don't show the tags, but also the freckles are gone and you can see the marks where they used the clone tool in photoshop --- WHAT A SCAM

You are Really Confused!

AUTHOR: davis209 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, January 12, 2013

LOL! you think Im the owner Haha!!! The only thing I own is my car.  I am pretty new to this forum, but  when you make a response, the button comes up automatically there with "OWNER" already populated. I just didnt realize to change it, I was just looking for the place to type my comment response in.  So although I wish I owned a company, Im just a simple car owner. LOL!

Owner pretending to be a customer!

AUTHOR: James P - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, January 11, 2013

Looks like somebody slipped up!

Have a look at comment #1 ("Tag Away Is Awesome"). This was supposedly written by a consumer (username: davis209), or so it may appear.

The same "consumer" comments again in comment #3 and then this is where it gets interesting..........In comment #5, it appears as though this so called consumer forgot to pretend to be a customer this time.

Have a look at comment #5  and comment #7 which are both written by the same user as comment #1 and #3 (davis209). Except this time, all of a sudden this is no longer a consumer comment.

These comments were written by the owner of the company! Have a look, it says #5 Owner of company and on comment 7 it says #7 Owner of company.

Busted!!

We Love Tag Away.

AUTHOR: vanderstein - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 26, 2012

Hello, I was reading this report and wanted to chime in myself.
Our Grandmother suffered with skin tags for some reason and we could never figure out why.
We would take her to the Dr. to have them removed because they scared her so bad. The only problem was they would come right back.

We bought Tag Away to try and treat our Grandmother right from home. The product seriously has worked wonders for her. I can only state this from our experience and it might not work for everyone,
I am not sure if it is the answer for everyone but I can't see how it wouldn't work for most people. All I can say is it worked without getting our grand mother upset which is very important to us. it was totally pain free and so far none of the tags have come back.

Hope this help anyone reading. After reading this thread I would have been confused myself.

Eric

I also stand by my report

AUTHOR: Ramses D - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 26, 2012

I did go to the official site I doubled check to make sure that it was the "official website" --- The person that have been rebutting here and saying "so strange" most work for Tag Away --- I am a regular person, don't work for any competitors of Tag Away and post here my real name. My only interest in posting here is to alert other consumers, so they don't get fooled the same way I was fooled. I have been using the product as directed and no results at all -- Tag Away is a scam !!! My only regret is that I am realize that I have been taken.

Tag Away Is Awesome!

AUTHOR: davis209 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, December 24, 2012

A Pharmaceutical company would not offer a product like Tag Away because it is all natural.  Therefore Pharmaceutical companies would never have a product similar to Tag Away at all.

these companies

AUTHOR: keepitreal - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, December 24, 2012

These companies are parasites, if it sounds to good to be true it is. And if this stuff worked so well a pharmaceutical company would have bought the rights and would be profiting millions. Don't be so obtuse people.

Dear Henrietta Sonntag

AUTHOR: davis209 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, December 03, 2012

Dear Henrietta sonntag,

Your name is very unique for sure!! Anyhow, I understand what you were saying about people writing for companies. But... there are also competitors that BASH GREAT products. They used Fake names too.

What angers me most is when people deliberately do this and then the people like myself who could really benefit from this product, shy away because of your one post.

Like I said, I  never received a sales call from Tag Away Company.

This product works amazing for me and others i know who have used it.

I still think you probably bought the product elsewhere and it isnt the authentic formulation of the product.

I am confirming my original post

AUTHOR: Henrietta sonntag - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, December 03, 2012

Yes, indeed, I was using the authorized site.  Yes, the company did say they were contacting me based upon my order and were being very tricky.  Yes, I did use Tag away according to directions and it does not work.  Yes, there are probably posters who are employees of the company who are making stuff up.  And, YES, if you do some more googling, you will find other sites with similar posts that refer to the misleading marketing tactics.

Ordered Again Last Friday

AUTHOR: davis209 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, December 03, 2012

This is soooo strange. I ordered again last Friday for a friend of mine. I never get any phone calls like you are getting. This is so strange.

Again. I think there are so many people marketing the product and their websites look like the Official Website.

Please make sure you are getting this from the true Authorized site. You shouldn't have that problem then.

The same thing Happened to me.

AUTHOR: Ramses D - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, December 03, 2012

Regarding the first comment in this report -- The same thing happened to me.

I searched the web, before ordering this Tag Away to see if there were any red flags and came across this comment and the one below in which it suggest to go to the original "Official" website that offered Tag Away.

I ordered the product through the official site last Friday and sure enough, today I received a call from them trying to set me up with some kind of service that if I didn't cancelled they would charge some membership fees and the person on the phone was talking a 100 miles and hour.

I am beginning to regret that I ordered this -- may be the second comment in this page is from some one that works for that company -- please be aware before your order this product and be prepare for the following call

Tag Away Is Awesome

AUTHOR: davis209 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, November 11, 2012

i just read this Rip Off report and couldn't help but to comment. First of all I ordered Tag Away 2 times and NEVER had a problem with a third party contacting me about a special offer.

I think you might be quite confused here.
This is never any experience I had myself.

Did you at least try the product?

Any how, Tag Away works well and works really fast. The only thing I wished the had done was make the product even more spill proof. Had a bit of an accident with the bottle, so had to reorder but glad this product is available.

If you need more info on it you can look at this news wire. I ordered from the page that guarantees I get the product Direct from Tag Away Themselves. Maybe you ordered from another site because according to the news wire, there are so many look a like pages. You need to make sure you get it from the original Official Tag Away site. I'm sure f you got it direct you would have had no problems, because I certainly did not. So make sure you don't buy it from anywhere else.

Here is the Tag Away News Wire Link:
