The International Award Payment Center Corporate Headquarters Form 1080, Official Memorandum, minimum Prize $1000 North Kansas, Kansas

I received a Letter from Express courier 'rush delivery letter' It was a red and yellow shiny paper package with a white outline picture of an eagle.

The letter read:

"Dear Lisa Savage, 
 i am pleased to inform you that contingent upon your valid entry and pending official declaration as the final winner, you shall be rewarded $15,000.00. The $15,000.00 award will be paid by corporate check from funds deposited in a US bank and delivered by first class post or bonded courier service; this sum shall be disbursed free and clear of all commissions, fees, or encumbrance."

and goes on some more about the competition i supposedly entered. Which i never entered, im not the type to enter random competitions. the letter told me to fill out form 1080, enclose $25 [under where $30 had been crossed out] proceeding to ask credit card details, or check, cash or money order.

it has Blue Series 9 stamped on it, but as it is, what appears to be a photocopy or not and original copy, the stamp looks like computer typed print. And that is about it. i assumed that if id actually won money, i wouldnt have to pay in order to get it. i then assumed if it was a corporate company, then why no phone number, fax, or email?

So i decided to look it up online. and i found other complaining of this same fraud. =P Thanx for your time. and i hope u dont fall for this trick =P
