The Moving Company Call Today 1-855-44-MOVING Damaged Goods, Over Charged, and Movers asked to buy DRUGS Fort Lauderdale Florida

This company offered me a rate to move my 3 bedroom 1200 square foot house from Virginia to Alabama.  I was quotes 1608.00  They were supposed to pick up my items on Saturday January 11th.  I was told this rate overed about 3000 pounds of items. 

First the moving company called and stated that they couldnt come till the 13th by which time i would have been gone from my home and had my utilities set to cut off.  Then they said they could come that afternoon the 10th.  I left work early and rushed home to get things finalized since I thought I had another day to get the last items settled.  They did not make it on the 10th.  They finaly came 4 hours late on the 11th. 

The movers worked well and quickly.  However they asked my husband if he knew where they could find marijuana in the area. 

When I called to complain that they were left I was treated like I was being unreasonable for wanting them on time.  I told them I am not the person to mess with and that I would get my desposit back if they couldnt do this.  They basically told me I would not get my desposit back since they had already set the movers there and they would be there shortly. 

This company DOES NOT KNOW the people they have moving your items.  They contract moving companies out.  They used a company from NY that picked up my items then took them back to NY and stored them for about a week before they got them to AL.  They arrived 4 days late with my items and many things were damaged. 

I was also told my items weighted 5200 lbs.  That was B.S.  I demanded them to be reweighed.  The items came out over 1200 lbs lighter than what they claimed!  I was told I would have to pay 2500 over the 500 deposit I already put down and the 500 I gave the drivers when they picked up my items.  I was livid and told them I CAN NOT pay that.  They them claimed they talked to the movers and had my rate lowered to where i had to pay 1700.  They did not negotiate this the movers just weighed my items and found they were wrong with the weight they claimed the load weighed. 

I requested a second weight to be done where I could be there to watch it happen. It came out LESS than the second weight and they ended up owing me 180 in cash.  I calculated the weight and the per pound rate and felt I was still owed 218 dollars.  I expressed this to both the moving company and the movers from NY but neither would aknowledge their calculation error or give me my money back.

While the movers were at my house they had to unload other peoples items to get to mine.  2 glass items were broken, a grandfather clock, and a lamp.  They also FORGOT to give me my daughters bed, trampoline, and a desk piece. I had to call them after they got 45 minutes away and demand they come back.  At that time they asked me to MEET them at another site because they didnt want to drive all the way back.  The driver then left his phone on in his pocket and I heard him (his name was Zee) call me a B**** and that i had caused him enough issues and he was tired of my Sh**.  He said many other things.  I called him back and told him I heard him.  He tried to say he was talking about a woman in his way at the gas station. 

The whole experience was exhausting, expensive, and not worth it ever again.  Move your own items rent a pensky truck and never trust a moving company ever again especially not this one.  They are liars and idiots.
