Time Warner Cable Phony Promotioal Items Columus Ohio

On January 9, 2014, I contacted TWC as my promotional discaunted package was expireing and the bill was doubling. I was trying to intially lower bill by subtracting services. I was told about a package that came with a Samsung Internet Tablet. Since it was only about 3 dollars more than what my bill was going up to and I wanted a tablet i took the offer. I was told I would recieve my Tablet 60 days later. 60 turned into 90 and I stopped by one of thier retailcenters and paid my bill and asked what was taking so long. They assured me I would be recieving something in the mail. 90 days turned into 5 months and I finally called customer service. They filed a ticket. Now at 6 months I called again. The representative seemed concerned and looked up the deal I agrred to back in January. Plainly she could see I was offered the tablet and she agreed I qualified for it...3 minutes later she found some small print that disqualified me. Although I was sold and agreed to a package condioned on recieving a Tablet, there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said let me contact her. She came back on phone and said the supervisor had aprroved a $150.00 credit. That is not even half of the advertised $ 399.00 value of the Tablet. She also said nothing else she could do.

 I believe from the first day there was never any real intention of giving me a Tablet. Nearly $1200.00 dollars in monthly payments later I am given a 150.00 credit.

I just want everyone to know that I beleive these offers are just deceptive bait and switch practice. I also believe most of us are compliant consumers and won't complain because we somehow figure we overlooked something!

I did all I was supposed to...Just lied to!
