I wrote everything that happened on yelp so I'm just going to copy it here:
Got the loan and was told my loan would always fall around the 5th or 7th to give me a few days after I get paid on the 3rd to bring in my payment. Well that was a lie. They started making my due date the 2nd of every month before I even got paid. Despite their false promise to ask for payment after my payday, and their promise to have no problem giving a week extension as long as you call, despite me never missing a payment, and despite the fact that I broke my shoulder blade and had to rely heavily on someone to help me get around (and they KNEW this) they gave me hell about an extra 2 days extension to bring in the money. They seem nice, helpful, and understanding when you come to apply for your loan. But the masks come off once the papers are signed and you're at their mercy. And they will treat you like you ARE at their mercy. You are not a respected customer to them but someone to be looked down on. At least that's how I felt when begging for understanding. It was demeaning doing business with them. Do yourself a favor. Never get a title loan. But if you must, go with a local place not Title Max.

What did you sign?

They started making my due date the 2nd of every month before I even got paid.
When you signed the documents for the Title Loan what was listed at the payment date? If it wasn't the date you wanted why did you sign it? If the payment date was blank or there was other missing information do you make it a habit of signing blank contracts?

And they will treat you like you ARE at their mercy.
- Well to be totally truthful with you..yes you are at THEIR mercy.  Because on you signing the documents that promise you will make the payments in a timely matter.  YOU also gave them the right to repossess your car if you fail to do this.   They are not obligated to do anything beyond what is in the contract..but neither are you(just something to think about).

Do yourself a favor. Never get a title loan

- You should have stopped there....
