TK Worldwide is a huge gamble for trainer or student. Yes, you may make some money as a trainer, or you may get a position in one of the dealerships....however, odds are against you.  I was solicited to be a trainer. After fact-checking, the owner did not have the experience or positions he claimed to have. This is a case of someone using others talents and claiming they stem from his own, which they do not. All in all, a fast tongue with nothing to back it up. If you are a trainer and work with him, he will make sure he gets paid from you with idle threats, if you are involved in a training session, you will have to pay and the company really has no say in anyone getting hired. These fear-based methods are antiquated and are not a legitimate means of obtaining real employment. He told me all that is important is HIS relationship with the dealership. Guess that tells you what anything else means to him.  This includes trainers and students. Let this be a warning for all. One thing to remember is that his trainers are not even employees of his. They are contractors and only earn money from the dealership and students. Obviously, they would want as many people as possible in the class in order to make more money. I say, if you are either thinking of being a trainer for him, or taking one of the training classes, give their office a call and see if he will even speak to you. Odds are, he will not. IF he does, ask where his experience comes from and check it out for yourself. Why is this important? He says he is the one who trains the trainers. Overall, a very bad feeling from all this.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

employment

AUTHOR: Allison - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, November 17, 2011

Dear Jim:

Think you had it bad when you were employed by TK Worldwide? I was hired in February 2010 to be the owner's "righthand" man after his long standing hand man went on to bigger and better things. Well needless to say Kevin canned my backside after about 5 weeks of employment because "I wasnt meeting his expectation levels." To which I say to him....how can I live up to your standards when you are not in the office half the time or always on the phone to give me the proper training and expectation levels that you are looking for.  Needless to say I was undertrained and definately underpaid for the position considering he expected me to also clean his office from top to bottom since he was to cheap to hire a cleaning company.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Jim Jones should be ashamed of himself!

AUTHOR: kevin - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 29, 2010

I'm not sure why an attack would be launched from him, as his company. DILLIGAF, which stands for "Do I Look Like I Give A "youknowwhat" worked for me for very brief 6 week period back in the beginning of 2001.  I have said, and done nothing to hinder his performance in our industry by sharing negative information on him and I am not about to start now.

As far as his comments regarding the quality of work our trainers do, and that we only care about getting as many people through the class as possible...If Mr. Jones is feeling guilty and this in some way is his attempt at confession, I would remind him that the quality of our applicants vs. the quantity is what makes our company reputation the strongest in the industry. Dealers know who we are, and they know that while they may have to pay just a bit more sometimes than our competition charges, they are going to get a high grade applicant who has top earning potential, or they will get nothing at all. I would rather turn over Zero candidates to our dealers and charge back the cost of the class, than send them someone who is not qualified to make a great income for both themselves and the dealership as well.  These graduates are our report card and they were yours as well. It's not like I'm spreading your dealer and student surveys all over the internet, and I'm sure you would not appreciate that if I did.  As for me, my record is public and crystal clear.

Regarding my experience:
I worked at the following dealerships under the following people:
Gatorland Toyota-Gainesville Adam Rohlman Owner (sales)
Scott Clark's Toyota City Charlotte, NC Scott Clark - Owner (Sales, PAL Coor.Product Knowledge Specialist)
Harrelson Toyota Rock Hill, SC Louis F. Harrelson - Owner (Manager)
and about 20 other dealerships as a consultant which includes working in ALL Management responsibilities.

NOT THAT IT IS ANY OF HIS BUSINESS.

Dear Jim,
I am sorry you did not have a great experience working with TK. I wish you all the best in whatever career it is you are in now. As for making up lies about my company, you should be ashamed of yourself...
