Tons Of Rentals IPM Corporation Ignored Our Request for Repairs, Even the Moldy Basement, Now They're Trying to Make Us Pay Hendersonville, North Carolina

My family moved into 142 Cinnamon Way, Flat Rock, NC in June of 2009. This house is owned by a member of the staff at IPM Corporation. The house was listed on Tons Of Rentals' website. The property was managed by IPM Corporation.

When we moved in there was no move-in inspection done. We were not given an opportunity to point out the numerous deferred maintenance issues on the property. We lived there until the end of our one year contract then moved out.

Throughout the time we lived there we attempted to get Tons Of Rentals and IPM Corporation to send a maintenance person to fix the various issues with the house. All our attempts failed. Tons Of Rentals and IPM Corporation chose to ignore our request to repair a dangerous hole at the entrance of the very steep driveway on the property. Tons Of Rentals and IPM Corporation chose to ignore our request to repair the leaky, damp, basement. During our move out we discovered that the basement was contaminated with what was likely black mold. A $300 office desk that was stored in the basement, was so covered with mold that we had to throw it away. In May, prior to our July move out, the mailbox fell over from being rotten and eaten by termites. I immediately called Tons Of Rentals and IPM Corporation to request repairs. As usual, they ignored us, and the mail box was still broken when we moved out.
