Tower Loan Of Pearl Mississippi DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Pearl Mississippi

Tower Loan of Pearl, MS has sent three different checks over a period of 6 months or so to my son (college student) that advised him to just cash the checks and pay a certain amount each month....no need to come in to the office and sign anything...just cash the check. Being a college student and needing money to help pay for his studies, he cashed the checks. This meant three different loans. He was under the impression each time he cashed a check it would just add that amount to his first loan. Apparently that is not the case. I agreed to pay the loans for my son while he was attending college. Tried to negotiate with Tower Loan to combine the 3 loans which was out of the question for them to do so. Also agreed to do my best in catching these loans up to date. Had extensive phone conversations with collections manager on several occasions and thought we had come to an agreement. Each time I have to remind him of what we talked about in our previous conversations. These people apparently do not keep notes on any discussions with customers in their files. I have held up my end of the bargain and continue to make payments on these loans each month (at least one payment if not two each month), but the phone calls keep coming in on a daily basis not only to my son's cell phone, my cell phone, but at his place of employment. They refused to cease calling my son's employment even though they have been told he will lose his job if they persist in calling him at work. Doesn't matter to them. I talked with the collections manager one day and made arrangements, then got several phone calls the very next day. They have even gone so far as to call up to 5 times in one day leaving messages on my home phone each time. I agreed to make payments each month until it is caught up. Have even paid the first loan off, but they still harrass on a daily basis. Even after making arrangements to pay, they filed legal papers to collect. Keep in mind one of these accounts is only 90 days past due. Not sure how they have been posting my payments or to what account.

It seems as though they are more concerned with harrassing customers than trying to work with customers to get payments. I would not borrow money from Tower Loan of Pearl, Mississippi again if I was starving on the street! I will make sure everyone I know who is considering borrowing money does not do business with this company.

P.S. By the way, Tower Loan continues to send checks to my son to cash on a regular basis! Figure that one out.
