So you want a job selling cars? No experience needed we have paid training!
I to was bamboozled into this wonderful offer from UCS auto.
Answering an ad in my local papr for this great opportunity I jumped at the chance.

Called and went in to the dealership that was running this training course and I filled out and application. I then got a call from the trainer to come in for an interview. Great!
Went in and met with the trainer David Manacotti.

He said he was impressed by my resume(Application) and if I would be interested in the training course, wich started the next day. Isaid I was working. He said (after I told him what I did)
"Would you rather sell popcrn or cars?"

I gave notice to my employer that I was leaving. and went to the training class.
There where aprox 22 people in the room. David went through his pitch and said we would have to purchase a training book for $629.00 I was taken back. But I bit the bullet and paid him(The dealership) By credit card after borrowing the money. took another class(just 2 days)

The next day I went to the class and their where only 13 people left in the room. He said there are 5 dealerships they are affiliated with that are hiring. NOT TRUE!
After class he (David) interviewed everyone one last time asked me what I think and told him on board and very interested in the position as a car salesman.

Then he told me i had to interview with the dealership owner why/ I asked myself weren't we already to move on to a dealership that was hiring?
Next day I met with the owner. He asked me some questions about myself hobbies etc.
10 minutes.
Then had to meet with his brother for another interview.
I'mgetting the run around.
Meantime David gave us a number to call for a drug test? It's the New Hire hotline.
Talked to a Mike I asked are their any jobs?
Oh yeah I'll make some calls.
Got an e-mail from UCS saying to call a dealership for a job. The guy I was supposed to talk to was out so I contacted him by e-mail.

He wrote back to me saying he had been contacted  and is NOT affiliated with UCS!
No postions where open at his buisness.

Called Mike again oh you can go to such'n such a dealership and call for an interview.
I called them and they said to come in for an interview and fill out an application.
Did not hear back from them!
Talked to Mike and gave him a piece of my mind he said he'll make some more calls and get back to me....not a peep!

So I was ripped off! I hope all the other applicants complain!
Sure I signed all the papers and was under the assumption I had a job which was paid and would get my $629.00 back after the 90 day period.
BUT I haven't worked a day yet!

UCS and evryone including the dealership I took the class at should be ashamed and refund the investment I made.
I have nothing to show for it except a bank account that's short $629.00!
Don't fall for this companies tactics run away!

Steve Bridgeport Ct.
