I have been unemployed for 4 months and am working very hard to find a job and these are the type of people who are taking advantage of us. I will not stand for this. I am a very smart person and know how to fight against this.

So I applied for this position on Craigslist. It said, 'Assitant Branch Manager positon available and looking to be filled immediately!'

I had recieved an email late at night and this is what it stated...

Give me a call tomorrow and I'll set up an interview with you! Please make sure when you set up an appointment that you are on time though and show up. Tomorrow and Tuesday are the last days I am interviewing and the interview will take about 10 minutes. I am interviewing from 10:00 to 4:00. We are also looking for someone who can start after Christmas on the 29th. Please also bring in a hard copy of your resume to make the application process faster if you can.

Rachael 314-344-1998

Names:
David Bapp
Jennifer Bapp

I also have a home address and phone number if anyone is interested.

This to me is funny because it is exactly the same in several other reports I have read!!!

I went to the interview today and I have been on interviews before and worked in the professional world for several years now and something just didn't add up about this interview. I found this crappy office with nothing on the walls and old office furniture and almost thought about leaving right when I walked in, but I figured you can't judge a book by it's cover right so I stayed. Rachael, 'the office manager' greeated me and as I sat there and filled out this very non-professional application two other applicants came in for interviews. Every time I came to the office there was a BABY and a dog in the office. I was lied to several times about different things. Two of us were taken in to meet with a Rachael , which was wierd to me.

When you go to an interview you should never get interviewed with a complete stranger who is applying for the same position! Anyways Rachael sat there and told us about the company didn't give us a chance to speak or ask questions really and I when I tried he gave very short quick answers that never truly explained what I was asking her! At the end of the interview she wrote his name & number on a post-it note (shouldn't he have a business card if he is the manager of a company) and said please call me at 4:00 today to see if you have been choosen for the second round of interviews. When I was leaving I asked if they had a company website, she then told me, 'this office does not have a website'....what how would the company have one but not this office??

After this interview something was just not sitting right with me. I went home and tried to research the company by bringing up a website and found nothing, so I googled them because everything can be googled even if it's not legit. All that I came across were the same emails I am writting now! How these people promised an income of $35,00-$40,000 but really would get paid nothing! Thank goodness I looked into it before wasting more than a day with this company. I feel bad for anyone who gets involved with this company! I suggest getting out and not going any further with them before they scam you too.

Oh the funny part is, after reading all of these stories I called David at 4:00 to see if I made it to the second round and I did and he had told me the same thing that was stated in a previous report...'make sure to bring a notebook & pen to take notes'!! I asked who I would be meeting with and he just said a manager and would not give me a name...wierd huh? Needless to say I am scheduled for an interview on Wed. and will not be showing up to this scamming company! I hope if this has happened to you, you report it. People like this should be stopped immediately before they ruin other peoples lives!!!
