United Car Exchange Scam Artist and Lie to Get Sale !!!! Iselin, New Jersey

I am making this report to avoid this company taking advantage of others like they did my mother. when my father passed away she had to sell his car as rapidly as possible she could not afford the payment so we placed an ad and she was contacted by this company and they told her that they would place the ad on multiple high profile sites and that the cars typically sell in 2-3 weeks. They told her that if the car did not sell in 90 days they would give her a refund.

she asked explained to there representative that the bank held the title on the car and that it was in my fathers name. they told her that was no problem all she had to do was take care of the responses to the ad and if by some chance the car didn't sell she was to call customer service to process the refund. 

then i got the list of the sites they place the ads on and had never heard of any of them they were all obscure free listings. needless to say not one call was received in the 90 days and when my mother called customer service to ask for refund they told her that she would have to provide a notarized statement of the title and it must be in her name; well the title was never in her name and United Car Exchange new that all along and told it was no problem before she had paid now it was a problem and they told her she could not receive a refund because the title was in my fathers name(he is deceased) .

Now my elderly mother has lost her 200.00. It is truly sad when a company contacts a elderly person shortly after losing her husband of 50 years and tells her outright lies to get her money. She did explain all of the situation to the rep and they assured that it would be no problem if the car did not sell to get a refund.
