#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Original Report Has Validity

AUTHOR: Geoffrey Jones - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, December 21, 2009

First off I worked for USPS until the MH Union suckered me into not testifying thus losing arbitration #8. That sustained a wrongful termination.  That being said, I must support the plausibility of the original report with my own situation.

I bought ink online. It was mailed and according to the tracking number delivered on a Saturday 09-26-09. There's absolutely nowhere to leave a package unless you're inviting someone to take it.

Why I agree USPS covers up. I was told by one supervisor at the local station, "The package was scanned but not by one of the three scanners belonging to this station." Subsequently, I was told they do not know what scanner scanned the package, which means the have no idea who scanned the package.

I spoke to letter carriers and the new mvo clerk on this route.  None of them remember delivering the package, which I forgot to mention, was addressed to my dba, at this location, but the name of the dba is not on either mailbox.

USPS did not appreciate me but I know they're not as inept as their explanation seems to imply. I'm trying to file charges because I'm still hurting from they're wrongfully removing me and $56.31 plus the $90.00 equals $145.00, give or take, I had to spend so I could use my printer. That is more money than I can afford.

Isolated?

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, January 03, 2005

As I posted, my insured package was sliced open by a usps employee, the item was removed, the package was resealed and then delivered to the addressee. Filed a complaint on Nov. 29. Was suppose to be contacted by the PO within 24 hours. Here it is 30+ days later and have never heard from them. Went by the PO and picked up a form 1510(Mail Loss/Rifling Report) which I have to fill out and return to the PO. They just busted a mail employee here who was putting his home address label, over the top of the real address labels, on packages. The carrier(honest) turned him in. He was receiving large numbers of packages at his home. d**n, why didn't I think of that one.

#1 UPDATE Employee

I would like to know how you come to the conclusion that a usps employee stole your cigarettes

AUTHOR: J. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, January 02, 2005

I have been a employed by the postal service for 4 years. My mother has been employed by the postal service for 26 years. I have never heard of a situation where the post office was covering up for their employee who steal. The postal service takes stealing very seriously. Their is a no tolerance for things like that. Tampering with the mail is a federal crime for employees or the public. There is no wide spread problem with employees stealing mail. If his is indeed what has happened. I can assure you that it is a isolated incident.
