On February 1st 2010 I was schedulled to pick up two clients in Winnetka Il.6am and 6-15am within three blocks from each other,seems like nothing nteresting-usual limo-things on Monday morning.Both clients have to go to O'Hare airport.The real things were:The clients were never notified that they will share the limo(it is not a big deal,but in Universal Limo it is a common practice).The real time frame between those two pick-ups was 45 min(my first client had to wait inside the car)When my client called Universal and spoke to Kristina Miller and Gordon Simic trying to resolved this matter peacefully and try to get to the airport to make his flight-the answer from Universal owner Gordon Simic was : yelling profanities on my client,telling him to get the hell out of limo and find the way to the airport if he does not want to wait.After all,we spoke to the second client and he told us that his pick up time was not the same that I had.When I addressed it to Gordon-He screamed,swearing,made a life threats to me and my family,had me bring the limo to him and had me fired.Costumer service-wise-Universal Limousine in St.Charles Il is the worst company I've been ever near in my entire life.I was with this company for 2years and saw many cases of verbal abuse,misthreating,very poor time schedulling,inaccuracy.Dispatcher never new where the drivers,their services devices never worked,drivers been constantly on weekly base charged for services they never provided.Gordon Simic is a mean,abusive,unintellectual,psychotic individuals.

I worked at universal limousine and private car inc briefly before i quit.. For one , all they do is lie and cheat and steal.. Especially to their clients.. The owner gordon simic and his wife christina ( the real owners ) taught us to manipulate and lie.. Lie about their location, who owns the place .. Why things went wrong .. Ect.. Also, gordon was a money hungry crook.. And i have never been spoken to so poorly in all my life .. I have heard him threatening many other employees for various reasons and swearing constantly and always yelling and humiliating people.. Oh, not to mention his checks always bounce come pay day.. He never has the correct amounts in his accounts.. He also asks innapropriate questions during interviews.. Any "rebuttle" , especially in all caps , will be made from his wife .. Who he trained to lie properly.. I recieved many phone calls from customers angry and wanting to complain, and again, was told to lie and say we moved , got new owners, ect.. Don't work for him.. And especially don't use limo's from him. He also owns universal taxi and morton taxi .. Based out of addison illinois.. Off swift road .

Gordon acts like a gangster / mob guy.. And wants to scare everyone .. Maybe some times he gets lucky with giving passengers good rides, but i blame that entirely on the professionalism and hard work of his drivers! No him! And he treats all his drivers like dirt! He says they dont even deserve to be called by their name .. And he treats them like idiots and says "we have to be mean to them or they dont listen!" they are people too!! And they do all the good work for his company!!

Also, there were tons of people that quit ahead of me .. I should have wondered why.

The driver is 100% correct about Gordon Simic's unprofessionalism, threats made against drivers/clients, language in general, and god forbid the guy owes you money.

I was an owner/operator for the taxi side of universal. My whole time with the company made me actually regret purchasing a cab. My general opinion of gordon is the guy thinks he is napolean, short guy with big ambitions of taxi cab take over. Except for a certain few drivers the lot of his current employees are inconsiderate, rude, drug users and crooks. Hell I would be that way too if I wasn't making money working for him. These guys sit out all day long to pay his $78 daily lease and they maybe walk home with $20, some arent that lucky. All he cares about is lining his pocket and no one elses.

I also feel bad for the people that are actually brave enough to use his service. His vehicles are hardly legal (no insurance, revoked plates, structually unsound). God forbid they would get into an accident, the customers would be screwed about getting any kind of compensation from his company.

PLEASE I BEG OF YOU IF YOU HAVE TO USE HIS SERVICE PLEASE DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE CAR #186. The guys slashes the tires of other cab drivers just so he can get the ride, he has maced other drivers and customers. That is the kind of drivers that work for gordon.

Holes in the rebuttal

I think there are many holes in Kristina Miller's rebuttal. The first being the drug testing. Are all employees tested, how often, and by who? It seems unprofessional and slanderous to suggest that your driver returned from vacation and was now on drugs. 


Also the name Universal Limo and Private Car suggests that a client would not be sharing a ride with other clients. Were the clients advised they were sharing a car? Do they get a discounted fee for their inconvenience? Was the ride sharing caused by a lack of cars or over scheduling?

Finally, just because a dispatcher has worked for a company for six years doesn't mean that the company or the dispatcher is above board and legitimate. I understand these are hard times for limo companies, but your rant about a driver has too many holes in it.

I think your company could use a good dose of honesty. Also please don't use all caps.

   AS A SUPERVISOR WITH UNIVERSAL LIMOUSINE FOR OVER 6 YEARS, I CHRISTINA MILLER WAS SINGLE HANDEDLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISMISSAL OF DRIVER ANDRE BERESNEV WHO FILED A COMPLETELY DISHONEST EXPLAINATION OF THE EVENTS THAT OCCURED THROUGHOUT THE WEEK OF HIS DISMISSAL ON FEB 1.  ANDRE BERESNEV DROVE A 2009 10 PASSENGER STRETCH OWNED BY UNIVERSAL LIMOUSINE.  PRIOR TO EMPLOYING MR. BERESNEV, A FULL BACKGROUND CHECK WAS PERFORMED, INCLUDING PRIOR EMPLOYMENT AND DEPT OF MOTOR VEHICLES.  WE ALSO PERFORM ROUTINE DRUG TESTING.  OUR DISPATCHERS ARE WELL INFORMED AND TREAT OUR STAFF AND OUR CLIENTS WITH THE UTMOST PROFESSIONALISM.  WE HAVE VERY HIGH CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS AND OUR CHAUFFEURS ARE EXPECTED TO DELIVER EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE AS WELL.  AFTER ANDRE BERESNEV RETURNED AFTER A 1 MONTH VACATION AFTER CHRISTMAS 2009, WE WERE HAPPY TO CONTINUE BUSINESS WITH HIM.  HE HAD BEEN A GREAT DRIVER UP TO THIS POINT.  HOWEVER, AS DAYS WENT ON HIS PERFORMANCE CHANGED.  HE WAS NOT RESPONDING TO DISPATCHERS, HE COMPLETELY BLEW OFF A CORPORATE CLIENT PICK UP AND SHE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO DRIVE HERSELF BECAUSE HE WENT TO OHARE INSTEAD OF HER HOME. OUR COMPANY LOST THAT ACCOUNT BECAUSE OF NEGLECT.  HIS RESPONSE ,  WAS THAT HE SCREWED UP.  MR. BERESNEV WAS SENT TWO DAYS LATER FOR RANDOM DRUG TESTING SINCE HIS ACTIONS WERE SUCH A SURPRISE TO MANAGEMENT.  RESULTS WE RECEIVED AT A LATER TIME, CONFIRMED HIS IRRATIC BEHAVIOR.  LATER THAT WEEK, MR BERESNEV WAS SCHEDULED TO PICK UP TWO GENTLEMEN 5 MINUTES AWAY FROM EACHOTHER AND TRANSPORT THEM TO OHARE.  CUSTOMER #2 WAS ON THE WAY OUT AND COULD HER ANDRE COMPLAINING ABOUT HAVING TO WAIT 5 MINUTES TO LOAD THIS CLIENT.  AS A RESULT CUSTOMER #2 REFUSED TO GET INTO THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE IRATE BEHAVIOR OF THE DRIVER ANDRE BERESNEV.  I WAS ON DUTY AND COMMUNICATED WITH BOTH CLIENTS AS THEY BOTH AGREED THE DRIVER WAS MORE THAN UNPROFFESSIONAL AND NOT WHAT THEY WERE USED TO FROM UNIVERSAL LIMOUSINE.  IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THIS INCIDENT, ANDRE QUIT AND TURNED OVER OUR LIMOUSINE.  OUR COMPANY DOES NOT TOLERATE DRUG ABUSE, NEGLECTING OUR CLIENTS AND UNPROFESSIONALISM AT ANY LEVEL.

OUR NUMBER 1 PRIORITY IS TO PROVIDE SAFE, PROFESSIONAL TRANSPORTATION
