#1 Consumer Suggestion
If Payment Info is Requested, You Will Be Paying More Than You Think
AUTHOR: Juliet - (U.S.A.)

Any offer for anything "free", if they want payment info, THEY WILL BE CHARGING YOUR ACCOUNT, SOONER OR LATER.
A lot of "free trial" offers now want you to just cover the shipping and handling, like under $5.00, which seems perfectly reasonable.
It IS perfectly reasonable, but they don't have any intention of using the payment info for just that small amount.
Too many people will just let it go, or not even notice, when they get another charge, especially if it's for $19.95 or something, later down the road.
This apathy makes these "businesses" enough money to keep them pulling the scam, for as long as they can get takers.
No matter what the "free" offer is, if they get your banking or credit card info, THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE MORE ON IT than you expect.
If it's a "free trial" offer, with just the s&h being requested, send a money order, and see if you even GET the product that way. I wouldn't be surprised, at all, to find out money orders either won't be accepted, or just vanish in the office of the business. Vanishing seems the most likely outcome.
