The report from Ohio might have VidAngel confused with another product. VidAngel works through a computer or other digital device, not a box.

In order for VidAngel to edit out profanity and nudity, the consumer must choose the filters they want turned on for that movie. One those are turned on, the movie will play with all the chosen content edited out.

I've been a customer of VidAngel since October 2015. I love this service and have found it not to be any kind of rip-off. You can watch movies for one dollar, and also filter out the bad stuff. I recommend VidAngel to all my friends and family.

I've had no problems with them. A few times I saw some bad stuff I didn't want to see, but then I realized I needed to turn more filters on. Since then it's been great.

I am not connected to VidAngel in any way. I just love their service.

You have to turn on filters for stuff to be filtered. This should be obvious.

I assume the person in hte original report was dealing with VidAngel when they were new and had some bugs. 

I discovered that I never addressed claims about prostitution on this thread.

This libel was posted on multiple sites by the same person under different usernames. It seems to be the work of a competitor trying to slow VidAngel's growth. There is no substantiation of any claims. Watch us (founders of VidAngel) speak about a previous company at Startup Grind. Decide for yourself if we are the sort of people this person claims we are:

We founders are parents of multiple children and happily married (only once) for over a decade. We were born and raised on a rural farm in Idaho. We know how to work hard, but we are unfamiliar with this dirty game of libel until now. It's too bad that people tear others down rather than trying to make the world a better place. We'll keep making the world a better place and eventually the fruits of our labors will continue to completely drown out the libel that is posted anonymously without consequence.

These guys claim to be a company for protection of children, but one of the partners, brothers, whatever he is has been implicated in a prostituion sting.

In response to this report they removed the "based on availability" regarding the Chromecast devices off their website. I am a registered member. These guys do nothing but make stuff up and have an excuse for everything! Their movies are filled with sex toys, violence, profanity, nudity, etc.

Don't be a fool like me! Don't trust them!

Instead of trying to fix the issue, they just deny, deny, deny.

Red Flag for consumers!

Their Facebook is filled with consumers demanding to know when it's going to launch.

They have lied to everyone! Held money hostage!
