Walmart Part time pharmacy employee nigh shift Walmart employee stole my daughters I-phone from the restroom and Walmart could careless Norwalk, Connecticut

My 12 year old daughter went to Walmart with her girlfriend and her mom. She went into the restroom at about 9:00 PM her friend was waiting outside the restroom for my daughter. While standing there the friend notices a Walmart employee exit the bathroom with a phone in her hand and friend thought "gee that looks alot like MK's phone...same case and all"! She didn't think much of it until they discovered while in the checkout line MK forgot her phone in the restroom. She quickly goes back to retrieve the phone this was around 9:20 PM phone was no where in the restroom. That was when friend remembered the Walmart employee exiting the restroom with a phone identical to MK's She explained to her mom and they immediatley informed the customer service desk. They all went searching throughout the store calling the phone to try to locate it. No luck.

Then my daughter calls me at home at around 9:45 to tell me to locate her phone as I have a family locater..GPS. I locate the phone in Walmart parking lot. My daughters friends mom then asked her daughter to point out the employee she saw leaving the restroom. They explained the situation to CSR and they were kind enough to go outside and point out employee's car. They called my daughters phone with ears against the windows to listen for a ring...no luck. The store was in the process of closing so my daughters friends mom gave her info on how to get in touch if the phone was returned or found. Store closes at 10 PM I locate that phone until about 10:30 PM that evening in the same spot in the walmart parking lot THEN at about 11:30 PM the phone locates at 190 Strawberry Hill Ave. in Stamford CT about 10 miles from the walmart in Norwalk. Well you don't have to be a genius to figure out the phone was stolen by the walmart employee. I was able to locate the phone all the next day in random places and towns in surrounding areas. I called the phone,left messages and text messages asking the thief to please just return my phone to me NO QUESTIONS ASKED and if they didn't feel comfortable leaving it in walmart I would be willing to work out an alternative. I also explained that I had a GPS locator and know where she lives as the address in Stamford on Strawberry Hill Ave. was an apartment complex. She never responded.

I called Walmart and was told that the security guy would be able to review the security camera to identify the thief. I called and spoke directly to the head security person who then told me the only way to do that is with police orders. I call the norwalk Police who then tell me that I can file a report but they cant really do anything!!?? I have proof and know the exact location of my phone..they said GPS is no proof of anything!! I then said "well I'll just go by myself to her apartment and demand my phone back...they told me to not do that as I MAY BE ARRESTED FOR TRESPASSING!!!??? SERIOUSLY?? 
So my phone was stolen I was able to locate my phone for 48 hours then NOTHING...NOBODY is willing to help me. I also called the surrounding towns police where phone was locating and they told me the same thing Norwalk did! What do I do!??
I believe that Walmart's security and supervisiors or SOMEBODY should step up! Do they really want to employ a thief in there PHARMACY? 
Oddly enough after speaking with a friend who had a similiar situation said when she reported it to the police and gave them the location of her phone they went right over to pick up the phone because the person at that address had outstanding arrest warrants! So the only way I can get any help is if there are other more inticing crimes involved? I-phones are not insured (for this reason) and to replace the phone it would cost me $800.00! Thank GOD sprint was kind enough to process an upgrade for me VERY early in my contract...
I will be making a trip to Walmart at 180 Main Ave/RT 7 in Norwalk CT. and I will make sure this employee knows why im there!
