WDR, West German Broadcasting, Westdeutscher Rundfunk Refusal to Pay for Services Rendered Cologne Germany

My production company was hired to shoot footage for a segment for a show called Quarks & Co. WDR contracted an amount to be paid. After the delivery of our footage, WDR paid a deposit amount. After the show aired, as per our contract with WDR, they were to pay us additional monies.

They claimed to have sent the money due over three months ago. When the money was reported by us, to WDR, as not having been delivered a month later, the agent at WDR claimed to have launched an inquiry with their bank. However, two more months have passed, and we have received no payment, nor have we received any further information on the status of payment. It is our assertion that WDR is attempting to take advantage of the fact that we are based in another country, and is attempting to not settle a debt which we have outlined in writing.

Well over four months after we delivered footage to WDR, they still have yet to render payment or provide any logical, truthful, or accurate information as to the status of payment.
