Wireless Zone ,Wireless zone prices on phone is a ripoff. Roanoke Virginia
*Consumer Suggestion: over-charging vs fair margins
What a ripoff.. they charge wayyyyy too much for the phones.. go to best buy or walmart..
Best buy you get personal service.....and a service plan to protect your phone that dosn't cost you 50 bucks each time.
Save money ..
that same lg dare your paying 400 for at wireless zone only cost 99 at bb or walmart.
that blackberry storm they are charging you 250 for you pay only 189 at best buy..

#1 Consumer Suggestion
over-charging vs fair margins

Being in that position stinks and as with any company there will be sour
experiences. Having been part of this industry for 20 years and having
represented VZW for over 10 years I may be able to give you some
solutions if this occurs again with any company you deal with.
Although you need to look out for your bottom line it is important to know that being ripped off is typically feeling that you paid to much but also that the seller is marking-up product too much. Be assured that in the Wireless biz it is RARELY overly-inflated mark-up.
Retailers are stuck selling product way below cost in hopes that you will keep your service contract active so they may be reimbursed for the loss/discount. The margin that wireless retailers sell at is in many cases lower than anything else you may buy and even they even at times sell AT A LOSS.
So my point is that it's the other guy that is selling "unusually low" just to get you in the door or maybe they bought in an absurd volume. So it's more glass-half-full than glass-half-empty if you find a better price than average. There are some retailers that are priced too high and just the same there are a some that are priced "too low".
Advertisers above have met our
strict standards for business conduct.
