Woot!, Woot.com, Sellout.woot, Sellout.woot.com, Woot Misleading advertising, slow shipping, poor customer service Carrollton Texas

I ordered a GPS from sellout.woot on 12/5 - arrived 12/09. (Ad here: - http://sellout.woot.com/Blog/ViewEntry.aspx?Id=6700) Took a look at it and noticed that it did not come with the promised 2007 maps. Emailed Woot who stated that it was the manufacturers fault. Emailed the manufacturer, who stated that woot wrote the ad copy and that they were responsible for what it said. Emailed Woot back and have not heard from them as yet. I previously used this website and been satisfied with everything - even their terminally slow shipping, but they have told everyone they refuse to deal with this problem.

I also had another problem with their company - I Ordered 3 mp3 players on Black Friday 2008 - A great deal - $39 dollars each with $5 shipping. After I went through their 5 day wait to have them shipped I dropped by the site to see where in the heck they were, and found that they would not ship until Monday, which was actually the first of December, and 9 days after the order. That would be bad enough, but then the shipping carrier "Smartpost" Takes the most inefficient routes to deliver items to you. My item was shipped past my town to another town 130 miles to the north, and then has to come back this way to get to me - If they had shipped the item(s) when they should have, I would have had them by now, but as it is these are for relatives that I have to ship to - Now I will have to pay higher shipping to send to them, because their shipping department couldn't fulfill the orders. (other orders were processed during this time for other sales - and have made it to their destinations)
