My son's Fiancee ordered me 2 of the 1lb bag of mixed coins for my 65th birthday, based on an ad that was run in the Pensacola News Journal on 2 July 2012, and I am an avid coin collector. The total cost of these coins amounted to $207.68.When I received the coins she also sent me a copy of the ad. After reading the ad, I found it to be totally misleading. The ad while specifically did not state that you would recive the actual coins advertised, the did lead you to believe that there would be all silver coins in the bag, the did state that "you will be literally trading money for money. And once you've finished searching your Vault Bag you can sell the coins, spend them or hang on to all that silverfor the future". Which leads a person to believe that there would be at least a proportinate amount of silver coins in the bags vs non silver coins.

When I received the coins, the bags were secured with a plastic lock-tie with a tag that stated "NO RETURN IF SEAL IS BROKEN". That should have been the clue that this was a rip-off. How can you determine if you want the coins without being able to examine the merchandise?

In one bag the only real siver coin was 1 1944 Mercury head dime. The rest of the coins were either silver clad or late date nickles with nocollecter value. Total monetary value $12.65

In the other bag, there were NO silver coins and no coins with collector value. Total monetary value $13.45

The ad states that these bags will contain unsearched coins, but I find it extremely difficult to believe that as the ad states"In our vault, we havemore mixed US coins that we know what to do with, and we certainly don't have time to sort through them all to find the sive ones. Well, undoubtedly some one did!!!!
