I had received e-mails from internet marketing companies for which I reviewed their videos for possible work at home jobs.  These companies had CoolHandle hosting's website in their video to sign up for domain names and hosting.  I clicked on the link and signed up for one year of hosting (you have to sign up for one or two years to get the advertised lower price) which was $197.  I tried to understand and utilize the information supplied by the original marketing vendor; however, there were a lot of things missing.  I never used the domain name or website.  On May 1st I watched another video from a company that had a "fool proof" method of making money on the internet.  Again, at the end of the video was the link to CoolHandle.  This time in order to get a lower price, I signed up for two years with a prepaid price of $262.80 which was promptly charged to my PayPal account.  After finding out that the second marketing company was not as they advertised, I cancelled both of my domain names through CoolHandle and requested a refund within the 30 day cancellation period for the 2nd domain.  Since then I have received nothing but a run around.  Adam in live chat support said that an e-mail had been sent to me directly after my request which I needed to reply to in order for them to process my refund.  I searched all of my e-mail and found nothing.  I asked him to send it again which he said would take about 5 minutes.  No e-mail.  I had e-mail from this company so I knew Aol wouldn't put it in spam, but I checked anyway as well as my deleted mail, old mail and new mail and no e-mail.  He said he would send it again when I got back on live chat with him.  I still didn't receive it.  The next day I talked to him on live chat again and asked what would show up as the sender.  The reply was cancelation@coolhandle.com.  He said he would send "one more e-mail" in a very condescending way.  Well, again no e-mail.  So I sent an e-mail to the address he gave me as the sender, asking for the required cancellation e-mail from them and mentioned that if they just reply to my e-mail it will get to me.  No e-mail.  I have sent numerous e-mails requiring an update on my refund to no avail.  They will not discuss anything with me unless I reference the cancellation number which I don't have.  I have sent them the two numbers from the support tickets I also had gone through to request cancellation.  Apparently those are the numbers I need.  I cannot get the number from them that they request I use in order to discuss a refund.  This has been going on for over a month.  I wish I would have read some of the reviews of policies and complaints for this company before I signed up with them.  I have given them over $459 within 1 1/2 months, and I can't get any of it back.  The domains are cancelled and I cannot and am not using them.  I keep getting e-mails from the company that they need me to go online and put in my credit card information for their files.  I am willing to forget the March hosting fee and will give up $62.80 of the 262.80 I paid them if they will just refund at least $200.00.  I still have to use my cancellation number to communicate with anyone there even though I never received their e-mails that may have had the number and instructions of what to do to cancel my account (which I never found out what that was)  I have sent copies of the paid receipts from them and PayPal, so if that is part of what they needed, they have it.  I am out of work since March trying to live on unemployment and social security.  This has been a big debt for me and was paid for by reducing my bank account.  I feel really bad physically when I have to go through this type of treatment from a company who is supposed to be a reputable company.
