Ye 'Ole Yosemite RV Ranch/ Malcolm Hiett Yosemite Westlake Campground and RV Park USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN STAYING AS A GUEST AT YE 'OLE YOSEMITE RV RANCH/ YOSEMITE WESTLAKE CAMPGROUND and RV PARK Coulterville, California

I was a guest staying at the Yosemite Westlake Campground and RV Park, staying in camping cabin #2 from September 11, 2011 through September 16, 2011. They have since changed their name to Ye 'Ole Yosemite RV Ranch, but are also still known and doing business as Yosemite Westlake Campground and RV Park.

On or about the morning of September 15, 2011 the owner, Malcolm Hiett and a resident of his adjacent mobile home park, Yosemite Terrace Estates, created a disturbance screaming and using profanities to the point that I had to call the Mariposa County Sheriff and make a complaint of harassment. Shortly after the responding Deputy arrived and took my complaint, I left my camping cabin to take a shower at the campground restroom and shower facility just a few yards away from my camping cabin. While in the shower and out of view of my camping cabin, the owner Malcolm Hiett used his passkey to unlawfully enter my camping cabin and go through my personal belongings. Upon returning to my camping cabin, I discovered that Malcolm Hiett had removed and stolen a financial debit card from my wallet and a second police report was made.

In addition to Malcolm Hiett's unlawful entry/ burglary/ theft from my locked camping cabin, I think that all potential customer's and guests of this business should be aware that Malcom Hiett employs two maintenance men that he calls 'independent contractors' even though neither employee meets the definition under California Labor Laws. Both maintenance employees reside in the adjacent Yosemite Terrace Estates MHP and not only provide maintenance for the grounds and facilities of both Yosemite Terrace Estates MHP and the Ye 'Ole Yosemite RV Ranch/ Yosemite Westlake Campground and RV Park, they also did renovations, maintenance, and repairs for more than half of the mobile homes in the park that Malcolm Hiett personally owns and rents in violation of California Mobile Home Residency Laws/ California Civil Codes.

Malcolm Hiett traded space rental and mortgage payments for labor without reporting these employees under California Law, and he also paid them under the table and failed to provide workers compensation insurance as required under California law. One employee, Levi Goddard is a convicted felon who was on active probation/ parole for drug abuse/ theft at the time of the incidents I have reported, and was trying to evade child support obligations for his 5 children with several different women; while the second maintenance employee, Gerald/ Jerry, is a registered sex offender who can be found on any sex offender data base by looking up the Coulterville, CA zip code 95311 and checking the physical address, 6554 Greeley Hill Road Coulterville, CA 95311, and learn that this man lives not 30 yards from the campground/ RV park for which he performs maintenance and has 24 hour access to. Malcolm Hiett also has had numerous civil and criminal complaints filed against him with various government agencies for violations of California labor laws, burglary, mail theft, and numerous other incidents.

Would a reasonable person need to use extreme caution when deciding whether to conduct business or be a guest at this campground/ rv park? That's for you to decide. Personally, I would err on the side of caution especially when traveling with children or loved ones.
