On January 14th 2012 I received a call from an Instant tax service call center representative telling me to go to the location on E 9 mile in Eastpointe, MI to complete my return so it will be ready to send off to the IRS on Tuesday January 17 2012. So I did just that and my tax preparer made me sign additional papers and marked me in "green" meaning I was ok and ready to be processed on tuesday when the IRS openend. On Tuesday January 17 12, I called ITS (instant tax service) to verify if I was ok and If my file has been sent off to the IRS. The rep told me because I was marked in green, I am ok and ready and my file will be sent over by 8pm the night of the 17th. On the 18th I received a call from ITS stating my file was not complete and to come in so it can be completed and sent to the IRS. The preparer that prepared my return didnt do it right and ws fired. As frustrating as it was to hear that, I got off work and went up there to fix a mistake they made! My return end up being accepted by the IRS on January 19th 2012. I was told that my federal will be received between 7-14 days from the 19th. On the 26th I heard that the IRS was delaying refunds for people who filed on the 17th and 18th. So I called the location on E 9 mile in eastpointe Mi. I didnt receive an answer. So I called ITS call center as was advised that location is no longer open and my info was sent over to the location on 8mile and gratiot in detroit mi. So I went up to that location and found out that b/c i was accepted on the 19th I am ok. On Jan 30th the States website showed they deposited my refund into ITS's checking account. I called ITS and they stated it wasnt received or released. They gave me the number to their "bank" called "Tax Tree" (888-538-1040). I called tax tree on Monday Jan 30th 2012 and was adv by one of their reps that my state was deposited on Monday and it can take up to 48 hours to process it b/c there is a delay in the returns. Now my sister went through ITS as well and the state deposited her refund on Thursday jan 26 2012 and shes still waiting. I called Tax tree again on Tuesday Jan 31 2012 and spoke w/the first representative who told me it should be available on Wednesday Feb 1 12. Then I called again and spoke w/a rep who was supposedly talking w/her supervisor and advised me she will have it done on wednesday for sure. Wednesday Feb 1st came along, still hadnt received it. I called Tax tree again and spoke w/a rep who told me they cant view my state only my federal which was deposited on Monday jan 30th but the state hasnt been received. Then I called again and spoke w/a rep who told me they dont show anything at all every being received. Then, I called back again and spoke w/another rep who then told me they did receive it and it shoudl be available today, Thursday feb 2nd 2012. Today is thursday, ask me do I have it??? NOOOOOO!!!! Last night I went up there and bitched to Winta (the general manager), and she still had no answer for me. Her exscuse was I tried calling here and there and here and there and still nothing. These people are a bunch of crooks. Ontop of that, They told me the IRS was delaying returns and everybody return date was moved up. Per the IRS they have BEEN back on track and the original return date given is when to expect it. They told me I was supposed to receive my federal return on Wednesday feb 1 2012. Still nothing. These people are crooked, fraudulent, disrespectful and truly dont need to be in business. I waited literally, 15 days now for a fed/state return. This is totally unusual. I have never waited this long, nor have I ever had my state held like this! Im really ready to contact a lawyer!! And they are trying to charge me $600 +. Winta claims Im not going to be responsible to pay anything! I better not!! Or I really will find a lawyer. There illigit and I advise NO ONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TO GO TO ITS (INSTANT TAX SERVICE)!!! Check the BBB (better business beaureus) website and search for Instant Tax Service, they are rated with an F!
