     I'VE USED THIS SERVICE ON BASIC INCOME TAX FILING FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS BEFORE.  BUT, IN 2010 I HAD INVESTMENT, CD'S, COME DUE.  FILED MY INCOME TAX WITH TURBO-TAX THINKING OR HOPING IT WAS GOING TO BE DONE CORRECTLY.  WENT THRU ALL STEPS INCLUDING DECLARING MY MATURE CD'S.

     FILED MY INCOME TAX AND GOT A LETTER FROM IRS TELLING ME THEY(IRS) WERE DUE $8000 FOR THE INVESTMENT, CD'S.  I  FILED MY TAXES IN FEB(I'M RETIRED)  PLENTY OF TIME TO CORRECT ANY ERRORS MADE ON THE RETURN.  TURBO-TAX SAID THE RETURN WAS CORRECT.

     PROBLEM WAS,,,,TURBO-TAX DIDN'T PICK UP MY CD WHICH MATURED IN THE TAX YEAR I WAS FILING. TURNS OUT IT WAS A FLAW IN TURBO-TAX SOFTWARE.  I DID RE-INVEST THE CD BUT TURBO-TAX HAD LEFT TOWN.  THE SOFTWARE PICKED UP THE MATURED CD AS INCOME,,,HENCE, TAXABLE INCOME!

     THE ONLY SUPPORT AVAIABLE IS ON THE WEBSITE.  NO E MAIL ADDRESS, NO CONTACT PHONE NUMBER OR EVEN A 800 NUMBER.  IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT THEM.  THEIR "GUARANTEE" IS WORTHLESS.

     AFTER TRYING FOR WEEKS TO CONTACT TURBO-TAX(I DID RECEIVE A  E MAIL TELLING ME THEY HAD GOT MY COMPLAINT) I PERSONALLY CONTACTED THE IRS IN ATLANTA, GA AND THEY HELPED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM FOR $7500 LESS! 

     SO BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOU USE ON FILING YOUR INCOME TAX.  I CERTAINLY WOULD NOT  USE TURBO-TAX AGAIN.
